Oh what a shame - a great pub with great style but what appalling service. The waitress (peroxide blonde hair with piercings in either side of her lip)

This pub has a fantastic, friendly, relaxed atmosphere.. The bar staff really know their stuff when it comes to tasting and describing the wonderful selection of real ales on offer. Susan behind the bar is dangerous because she'll make you feel so welcome and at home you'll stay much longer than you planned to.... And if you're peckish you must... More

Dropped in here late evening one Tuesday. Still a few drinkers in. Relaxed atmosphere and some Paul Heaton on the PA. We were too late to eat but will call back to try the cheeseboard next time we're in Mcr

This is definitely my favourite bar in the Gay Village. A mixed crowd, not too 'young' and the music isn't so loud that you can't hear yourself think, unlike other venues nearby. I can't comment on the food as I haven't yet sampled it. Recommended for a mid week after work drink

We have been coming to Molly's for a couple of years, usually Saturday lunch or after French class. We have always found the staff, both behind the bar & in the kitchen very welcoming. There is always an interesting selection of real ales and the freshly made food super,It's always a very pleasant experience,we would have given 5 out of 5 but a... More

Recently visited Manchester for the weekend to have a mooch around some exhibitions. I stumbled upon the Molly house by chance and was greeted by friendly staff. It was late afternoon and fairly quiet inside. I got the full attention of the young lady behind the bar who even helped me go through my maps in search of other interesting... More

In short. Don't bother me, gossiping, rude staff. Everthing is too much trouble and if you're face doesn't fit - watch out. Small village minded and manager never actually there.

It never ceases to amaze me how the front of house seems oblivious to the damage they may reek on the whole business. When one has a poor experience of interacting with the front of house their whole impression of the business changes, suddenly the smaller portions become even smaller! The way the dishes are placed in front of you... More

I have frequented this bar since it opened. I am a professional who has taken work colleagues there on many occasions and pop in there at the end of the week to meet friends. It was always friendly and welcoming to regulars. I have spent lots of money here and recommend this establishment to friends and professional colleagues and partake... More

Nice interior, friendly staff (last visit the girl upstairs was chatty and funny) good choice of drinks, nice to have hand pulled beer on offer than just lager.
