Nice cosy little bar

Nice cosy, intimate little bar that does cocktails. It's a relief from all the noisy bustle of Canal Street.

Attended a catered hen do at the Molly House - we booked up the downstairs room and had a fabulous evening. Those of us who arrived early had a drink upstairs on the cute little balcony (good for the smokers) before heading down to the cosy room we'd booked. The atmosphere was lovely, the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive,... More

Called in for a drink en-route from Piccadilly Station to Deansgate - nice relaxed feel, pleasant friendly atmosphere and good mix of people - the decor is quirky without feeling contrived. We didn't eat but the tapas (being produced from the smallest open kitchen I've ever seen) looked awesome. Good range of drinks at fair prices.Staff were lovely and helpful and... More

Oh what a shame - a great pub with great style but what appalling service. The waitress (peroxide blonde hair with piercings in either side of her lip)

This pub has a fantastic, friendly, relaxed atmosphere.. The bar staff really know their stuff when it comes to tasting and describing the wonderful selection of real ales on offer. Susan behind the bar is dangerous because she'll make you feel so welcome and at home you'll stay much longer than you planned to.... And if you're peckish you must... More

Dropped in here late evening one Tuesday. Still a few drinkers in. Relaxed atmosphere and some Paul Heaton on the PA. We were too late to eat but will call back to try the cheeseboard next time we're in Mcr

This is definitely my favourite bar in the Gay Village. A mixed crowd, not too 'young' and the music isn't so loud that you can't hear yourself think, unlike other venues nearby. I can't comment on the food as I haven't yet sampled it. Recommended for a mid week after work drink

We have been coming to Molly's for a couple of years, usually Saturday lunch or after French class. We have always found the staff, both behind the bar & in the kitchen very welcoming. There is always an interesting selection of real ales and the freshly made food super,It's always a very pleasant experience,we would have given 5 out of 5 but a... More

Recently visited Manchester for the weekend to have a mooch around some exhibitions. I stumbled upon the Molly house by chance and was greeted by friendly staff. It was late afternoon and fairly quiet inside. I got the full attention of the young lady behind the bar who even helped me go through my maps in search of other interesting... More

In short. Don't bother me, gossiping, rude staff. Everthing is too much trouble and if you're face doesn't fit - watch out. Small village minded and manager never actually there.
