Cheap fresh beer never long waiting at the bar no matter how busy it is great location plenty of seating inside and out. Always looks like it needs a good clean, inside is very traditional, but it's nice to see an old boozer smack bang in the middle of town offering a good service.

This place is usually busy with a few pubs surrounding the area and a stones throw from Selfridges and Harvey Nics. Love a hot sunny day with a cool pint and taking in the atmosphere.

We stumbled upon The Shambles as we searched for our hotel... and what a quaint gathering of pubs it is. We only drank in one, and i'm not sure about the others... but Sinclair Oyster Bar is a Sam Smiths establishment so we knew instantly we'd be happy. The bar extends over many floors and it's delightful to wander around... More

Tucked away just down from the shopping centre and not far from the print works. There are two very old (15th century) pubs there were built moved 300 meters back in 1999’ish due to the IRA bombings. They were moved beam by beam and rebuilt in the new area. One of them serves an array of ciders but doesn’t accept... More

Even though it was a rainy day, this place was full of people. Old fashioned and traditional looking place. If you want to hang out with your old friends, it would be a good place tohave lunch or diner. Very close to various shops and other restaurants too.

The Shambles is made up of The Old Wellington Inn and Sinclair's Oyster Bar. They share the same outdoor courtyard seating. Pint at Sinclaires $3.40 u.s. Wellington is more expensive. Very popular place. The Wellington is the oldest building in Manchester cira 1552 when Edward VI was on the throne.

The Shambles is an amazing sight to see, amongst designer shops and bars here lies an old world pub. The decor outside and in does not disappoint and it adds to the atmosphere. Good prices for drinks, 2 pints was just over £5, very decent for location i think. The beer garden is very big and even on a cold... More
