you can easily spend a day there without noticing the time passing by. It offers lots of information and knowledge on machine, early computer, textile, etc, from time of UK industrial revolution. It is not boring to read at all, cause the museum combines different learning approaches to enhance your experience.

For a small donation, how small is upto you. You can spend the entire day here and still not see everything. I liked to take my daughters in the past, now i take the granddaughter and i still see new things (to me) every visit. I may add a donation in my Will

We spent a whole day at the museum perusing the different offerings they have to give. There is something for all ages regardless of interests. Food and drink can be obtained relatively cost effectively but we opted to take a packed lunch. Managed to park under the viaduct which cost only £5 for the whole day. Highly recommended for a... Went here with my sister and we loved it. The fact that it is free is brilliant too. Probably wouldnt have paid to go. The museum is really interesting even if you're not a science buff. Loved the railway room and air/space hall. We also got to put our picture up on a screen in the entrance lobby which was... More

What would we do without the MOSI? This is by far the best Museum in the Northwest in my opinion (or it was.....) and I say that with a heavy heart. Its still a fantastic place of learning, especially concerning manchesters role in the Industrial Revolution and the knock on effect across the world. For example, the Liverpool Rd Station... More

Good couple of hours. Loved the steam hall. Good day out if you have children with you but we were just two adults.

Went to mosi today for the first time and I was disappointed. Me and my 5 year old daughter loved it, we got to see the old cotton mill machines working with a very informative presentation! Eric the engineer and Fred the fireman with the steam train was perfect, my daughter loved it very entertaining. Will be returning very soon!
