We stopped by on our way to the Corrie tour so time was a bit limited, but we enjoyed what we saw, especially the Air and Space Hall. Great use of a fab old market building. I object to the way the £3 "donation" is pretty much demanded, after the website states that entry is free. I understand that it... More

I used to love going here as a child especially the aviation hall, this has since been something I've wanted my children to experience and have been quite a few times. Will probably never be able to visit the Smithsonian Museum so will have to make do with our very own MOSI.

This was the first place I visited during my stay in Manchester, and I was not disappointed. It holds a variety of exhibitions, ranging from computers to the textile industry to aviation... I honestly had no idea that Manchester played such a huge role in global scientific advancement. It was an eye-opening experience and would recommend it to everyone.

This was more geared towards children. It was a lovely museum with lots of interesting items from all areas. If I was looking for a place to take children in Manchester, this would be the top of my list. There were lots of interactive exhibits for kids and different hands-on sessions for them to partake in. As two adults visiting... More

The museum is a fantastic day out. You could easily spend a whole day exploring the exhibits. If you have kids, it's a must if you are in Manchester.

We spent 5 hours here looking at the exhibits and didn't see it all. It is free but donations are suggested and for certain exhibits payment is required. They have lockers to leave bags etc and sufficient toilet facilities. The café/tearoom is comfortable with a decent brew and tasty cakes. If you want more there is a restaurant on the... More

I have been coming to this museum since I was a little boy had a first trip there in primary school. And over the years I have visited it has always remained the same apart from when they had a big budget to have robotic dinosaurs there and amazing touring exhibitions there like Gunter von hargens body world's. But visited... More
