had a really great day there recently and the service in the restaurant has much improved. Would recommend it and hope it stays open.

I love MOSI! It is a great place to visit and there is lots to do. As a teacher I think it offers lots of great educational experiences and I will try to bring my class as much as possible. Definitely worth a day out!

There is so much to see and do here, 1 visit is not enough. From textiles to transport to the history of the toilet. For us oldies it was a trip down memory lane, for the younger ones it was a whole new world. Conveniently located a short stroll from Deansgate/Castlefield tram stop. Please visit MOSI and donate generously, we... More

I have been to this museum numerous times and I have not been dissapointed once, there are plenty of places to look and the place is HUGE. I recommend that more people go to this place! The museum is facing closing due to cuts and would be a huge loss to the community! The staff here are amazing too, one... More

The Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) is a large museum, housed in five separate buildings. At the moment funding for the museum seems uncertain so support is needed even if its continuing visitor numbers to highlight its importance. MOSI highlights the achievements of the industrial revolution and modern electronics and science. It is a big museums so its worth... More

Lots to do, breastfeeding friendly although changing rooms hard to get to. Train bit was a hit with our 4 year old. Train ride on the weekends too. Restaurant also child friendly. It is pricey but don't mind paying as it is a free museum so either go in there or give a donation to try to keep it open.

Myself and my toddler just enjoyed a brilliant afternoon here. There is no charge and a discretionary donation of £3 is brilliant value. There is loads to do and see here with great interactive experiments suitable for all ages. This is our third visit in as many months and there is always something new to see. I really hope that... Some nostalgia here as the makers of many of these superb machines are now long gone. a great experience - prepare to spend time here. Really makes one appreciate the contribution that science and industry in Manchester has made. Do visit as there is a threat to close it - swell the numbers and this makes closure more difficult to... More

Good museum, lots of interesting exhibits, personally I found it a bit hard to navigate around, probably because it is spread over a few buildings with no real pattern as to how it is laid out. A good way to spend a couple of hours though. It will be a shame if it has to close because of government funding... More
