This museum is all about getting involved and hands on. Plenty of things to do and see. Certainly not like the fusty old places you sometimes go yo.

There is a lot to see, you can make a day of it. Try to watch a demonstration of an old loom or steam engine, it is really impressive. The museum is interesting for children and adults and when I visited there also was a nice photography exhibition.

So much to see. Brilliant for all ages and well designed for the disabled to take advantage of everything on offer. The exhibits are well spaced out with comprehensive explanations. Well worth a visit.

Had a great day! Spent six hours going through all five buildings and there still wasn't time to fit everything in. The staff were very knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. The greatest part for me was that the power hall had many of the engines/generators both diesel and steam working giving real experiences not just reading about history

Great day out. Free to get in but you can give a £3.00 donation if you want which I did, well worth it. Lots of different things to see and do for both adults and children, very interesting. I went in August 2014 and even though it was school holidays it wasn't too busy.

What's not to like. Free entry and loads to see, too much for 1 day. Lots for children and adults. Will definitely go back.
