Located just off a busy road, both gardens and the rockery are tranquil havens. I was fortunate to choose a gloriously sunny day to return here for a closer look. The small gallery which was Fletcher Moss' s home is also worth a visit and the near-by church completes a very pretty picture! Memorable. I shall return soon, weather permitting.

Lovely park at this time of year with nice colours and near to some good restaurants for food and drink. Would recommend venturing a bit further into Stenner Woods which is just next to this and over to the River Mersey which makes a nice afternoon walk.

Can't believe I've been in Manchester for so long and never knew such an amazing garden was right there. The rockery is beautiful and there are plenty of different areas and paths to discover. Perfect place for a summer picnic.

Called in to Fletcher Moss a while ago. It was lovely, nice to ramble around. I took my mother in law who was in her late 90s - it was easy for her to walk around. Called there last summer, not as lovely in thw gardens seemed to have lost their charm. Probably because of 'the cost'

This park is huge and I am sorry I didn't have the time to properly visit it. The green grounds give an impression of travelling in time, it's such a magical feeling. It's perfect for a picnic. Bus are very close by.

If you can pick a fine day its a mighty good way to spend an afternoon. Plenty of trails through beautiful landscaped gardens and woods. Dogs allowed although there are areas where they need to be on a lead.

Everything was in bloom and the various fragrances were heavenly to the senses. The pergola garden has an herb garden in the center and is very lovely for a nice sit and a sniff. There are many trails through stenner woods and along the Mersey that are great to venture down. the ducks are clearly trained to take bread from... More

Didn't know this place existed until yesterday thanks to the power of the tinternet. So close to the bustle of West Didsbury yet feels like the middle of nowhere. Brought my parents on Mum's birthday, really well kept gardens and free entry.
