Everything was in bloom and the various fragrances were heavenly to the senses. The pergola garden has an herb garden in the center and is very lovely for a nice sit and a sniff. There are many trails through stenner woods and along the Mersey that are great to venture down. the ducks are clearly trained to take bread from... More

Didn't know this place existed until yesterday thanks to the power of the tinternet. So close to the bustle of West Didsbury yet feels like the middle of nowhere. Brought my parents on Mum's birthday, really well kept gardens and free entry.

Today the sun was shining and we entered through the gardens next to the church. Its spring so the garden is blossoming and looking very good. Some volunteers... More

Walked down Stenner Lane to the canal, round Millgate Fields, over the slatted walkway on the boggy ground & back up through Stenner Woods and Fletcher Moss Park - café there proving as popular as ever. Plenty of family groups & dog walkers taking advantage of the mild weather on Sunday 30/11/14. Lovely way to start the day & feels... More

We visited here for a casual wander around on recommendation and it's well worth a visit. Even some tree cutting while we were there didn't spoil it's basic peace and calm. If you can't find a parking spot down one of the lanes then there is a big car park costing only £2 next to the Didsbury pub. There is... More

Having been recommended by a friend, I visited here on Bank Holiday Sunday afternoon which turned out to be so much sunnier and warmer than forecast and showed the Parsonage Gardens section to its best advantage. Just happened to have timed my arrival for the performance of a medieval play with strolling players and guitarist, free too. The main Fletcher... More
