Lovely old terraced gardens, tennis courts, bowling greens and open flood planes (for the Mersey which runs at the end of the open areas) worth a wander on a dry autumn day

I usually love taking a trip to Fletcher Moss but the last time I went (29/12/13) we heard my dog cry from getting caught in an unexpected piece of barbed wire. This was places very low down and was in parts of the park where you could cross over from fields to the pathways. I was very annoyed as she... More

I love visiting Fletcher Moss gardens, The parsonage and the country park are beautiful. The only problem I had was that I thought that the bins could have been emptied more often

I used to run around here and recently revisited but it was not one of the best ways to spend half an hour as far as I am concerned. Perhaps it is just not one for me. watty

Spiritual and stunning. The rock garden is magical. There's no place like it and there's even cake.Great with friends or solo and pensive.

It was wet underfoot and the grassy areas were flooded , but sticking to the paths had a most enjoyable walk. I have not been for quite a while but nothing much has changed, except... More

Beautiful gardens, meandering pathways, unusual plants flowering even in September! The gardens cover a deceptively large area - you can spend hours here, picnicking, walking admiring the views. Well recommended!

Althoufg quite close to the busy Wilmslow rd you wouldnt know it.. sooo peaceful. Have been bringing my kids here since they were small to relax and escape the traffic. It is a plant lovers dream with so many unusual ones to look at.

Was surprised to find this park so close to Didsbury The little cafe is sweet but have to sit outside with dogs. The planting is fair but maybe needs a bit of an injection of cash and time. The walk on the boards over the marsh to the woods is pleasant. Over all it is a big area, very handy... More
