It was meant to be an “architectural green space” -its more like a concentration camp. People watching here is fun in the summer, some nice eating places and bars overlook the park.

It has nothing other than a waterfall. surrounded by bus stops and bus station. It has nothing to speak about

This area, it is very misleading to describe it as any sort of Gardens, is really a concrete mess thats attracts unsavoury elements. In fact its arguable to describe it as an attraction. The old gardens were nice enough, but this rplacement, which has been here for a number of years, needs a complete re-think.

Someone without an eye for beauty has permitted the erection of a structure not dis similar to the Berlin wall, making this area one of the most depressing sights in Manchester.

Lovely in summer. Fountains and gardens. Really nice atmosphere with people sat eating their lunches and children playing in the fountains. Clean and tidy.

I noticed the council are re-laying the grass which is a good sign. It's just a shame that the fountain and some of the lighting has never really worked after the first month it was installed. Half the water jets are obviously faulty and much of the lighting, especially by the trees and uplighting the wall, hasn't been looked after...

somebody though that a wall of ugly concrete was attractive, urinals in the street come a close second to indecent exposure, then if you can find any grass left, it will be full of rubbish

the gardens are only about 3-4 miles from where i come from so i do tend to go through there quite q few times a month, also when it is a nice warm day its nice to just sit in the gardens and watch the world go by.

I hade no expectations when I went to Manchester but if this their idea of a garden I´m not impressed. Lots and lots of concrete, buses and trams on one side, a few places to eat and have a drink but not my idea of a garden.
