Lots of different shops also great for when the weather is bad as it's all undercover. Parking can be expensive

Boring. No character. The shops are the same mindless collection of internationally over-exposed brands that you see anywhere and everywhere else. Perhaps there are some modestly interesting things. I saw none. It is indoors, eliminating the need to worry about weather. It may have some modest food scattered somewhere. I made a lap of the entire first floor and fled... More

The world seems to be getting colder, so shopping indoors has increasing appeal. To have this great shopping centre right in the heart of Manchester is a bonus. Whilst missing some of the big stores they have in the Trafford Centre, most of them are nearby and you can walk straight through to both Selfridges and M & S without... More

Go to the Arndale a lot and pretty much has everything what I need. Been with my gf showing her around Manchester as she is from Bolton, she likes the centre and the many shops on offer. Length of visit depends on the person really and food can be found within the food court. A very good shopping centre!

Big shopping centre with different shops, where you can find cheap (when there are sales) but also expensive and beautiful things. It is a little bit far away from the city centre. We had to pay 30£ for the taxi from the city centre. We spent a nice afternoon there

This centre is fab and plenty shops and eateries and a walk way to Selfridge's can't beat that. The centre was easy to find and has enough shops to keep you going all day. The choice of eateries is vast.

Being a country girl from Holmfirth way, I found Manchester City Centre Massive! The buildings are quite modern "Ugly". The saving grace was a wonderful old pub which appeared to have most of the shoppers in Manchester sat outside having a pint or glass of wine. It was lovely to see a place of character in the middle of the... More
