A wonderful old museum that is crammed full of great displays and activities. Perfect for a wander or a family day out. Worth the trip out of the city centre. More

Great for tourists. I learned a lot about Manchester here. Definitely not a lot of locals. I also loved the mummies and the interactive money display, where a museum worker let us hold currencies from thousands of years ago. More

Maybe not a fair review because the museum is undergoing some pretty extensive renovations--but everything seemed to be sort of in a jumble. The exhibits that were intact were interesting. We especially liked the coin/money room. More

Reall great for adults and kids. So much to see and do. It has a great picnic area too so you dont have to spend any money on food and drink while youre there. More
