The positive reviews on the Cotswolds Country Cycles website are merited. However, an otherwise excellent 7 day tour was spoilt by the two night booking at Bourton-on-the-Water, where the B&B was appalling. Arriving wet and cold mid-afternoon an unwelcoming and testy landlord notified that heating would be on later. Just when, he first said, was up to the thermostat. His... More

Julia and Ian were amazing in their responses to organizational questions right from the start. The routes were wonderfully thought out to give a beautiful mix of what the Cotswolds has to offer. The bikes were in 100% mechanical adjustment and geared perfectly for the terrain--the B&B choices were spot on for friendliness, atmosphere and breakfasts--and Ian and Julia were... More

We are just back from a 5 day, 4 night cycling tour (The Windrush Wanderer) organised by the lovely Julia of Cotswold Country Cycles. When I first contacted Julia with regards to one of the tours on her website I was very impressed with the speed of her reply and also the level of detail included. It really helped me... More

A cycling friend and I just finished a three-day, two-night trip planned by Julia of Cotswold Country Cycles. What a wonderful adventure! Julia took care of all the details, promptly responded to emails answering any questions we had. She picked us up at the train station, - booked us into a lovely, comfortable B&B (Cornerways) in Chipping Camden and made... More

we stayed several days based in Chipping Camden, and several in Winchcombe, and it was just lovely. Julia does a fabulous job of tailoring a trip to your needs. The bikes were in top shape, too. We loved Snowshill (even with that hill climb) and the surrounding country, and Sudesly (sp?) Castle is a wonderful attraction just outside Winchcombe for... More

This may have been the best way to explore outside of London. Our family is quite active and wanted to take a trip where we could see the countryside and this tour was simply perfect. My dad selected the 2 day tour with 1 full day of cycling. There are other, longer trips available, but this fit best within our... More

Julia Jones, handles all the finances, arranges your bicycles and accommodations in Chipping Campden and even meets you at the train station in nearby Moreton-in-Marsh. A cyclist, herself, she also provides maps and directions for day upon day of wonderful cycling through the Cotswold countryside... More

We had an awesome 6 day cycling trip organized by Julia in the Cotswolds. From being picked up at the train station, personal welcome at their home, to extra assistance with travel arrangements, Julia and Ian were perfect hosts. We've used cycling packages four times now in Europe and cotswold Country cycles was the best. The bikes were high quality... More

My husband and I did the 5-day, 4-night Windbrush Wanderer tour, starting in Chipping Campden, and ending in Moreton-in-Marsh. We are both so happy that we did this trip! The countryside is beautiful, and other than the times I was riding up a hill, I think I had a happy smile on my face for nearly the entire trip, imagining... More

My husband and I completed a Cotswold Country Cycles tour in July 2013. Julia put together a fantastic 5 day itinerary for the two of us and every aspect of the trip was delightful. She does an amazing job of planning cross-country routes that as much as possible use small roads with little traffic. Her maps and route directions are... More
