Do visit - it's so close to Hidcote that it's easy to see both in 1 visit to this lovely part of the country.

Lovely garden. We visited Hidcote garden just before (the gardens are very close together), which is bigger and more to see. But Kiftsgate is worth the visit for it's own style. We enjoyed the flowers very much and knowing that the third generation female gardener (who sold us the tickets) continues to maintain and enhance this beautiful family property, makes... More

Kiftsgate gardens are well kept and are really quite different from many other gardens. There is quite a lot to see on the same level as the entrance and around the house. Kiftsgate is high up above the village of Mickleton and for the more mobile visitors there are gardens on the slopes of the hill and below more at... More

I accidentally took friends to Hidcote for a second time so went to Kiftsgate and we have never been back to Hidcote. This is a most beautiful, loved, family garden ! Spectacular views. Beautiful little pockets of garden. I just can't get enough of it !!!! The cafe is ok not amazing but we don't care, the garden is just... More

Arrived 15minutes after the gardens opened12.15 on a Monday, we enjoyed the gardens practically to ourselves for the first hour. The heady scent of roses followed us round- picture perfect, well maintained. Plenty of benches and seats to relax and enjoy these amazing gardens. we were allowed to take a tray with a light lunch into the garden, absorbing every... More

Spent a few hours in the gardens - very peaceful - beautiful laid out. Shame its not a National Trust property like neighbouring Hidcote. Not too expensive to get in - good restaurant and the gardens are worth seeing. Highly recommend a visit.

Kifsgate Court Gardens lie directly across the road from Hidcote Manor, so it is easy to visit both in the same trip. Unlike Hidcote, Kiftsgate is not a National Trust property, but is nevertheless well worth a visit. The gardens sprawl down a rather steep hillside behind the large house, with fine views across the Cotswolds. There are also large... More

This is an interesting and unique garden established on a hillside with nice views and beautiful spaces. Makes sense to see this along with your visit to Hidcote, as the two are a short walk or drive apart. Nice tea room here too.

It was a shame our visit to a very attractive and dramatic garden was marred by being shouted at on entry for having the temerity to accidentally walk past the pay point as we wanted to check the cafe was suitable for our young daughter. For some reason we still went in. Unfortunately the entry fee is overpriced. While the... More
