A lovely place to visit. Not as big as Hidcote which is very close by and different in structure. Our visit took just over 2 hours. It would be longer but we could not manage to steepness of the lower areas, which include a viewing platform and 'swimming pool'. Find the upper pool area with water feature which is very... More

Owned by womens for generations have given the garden a special twist we men! also can enjoy. There are nice views and fantastic plants all over. The two new elements in the garden - the lowest one which is placed next to the ha-ha - contributes to a garden with big variation.

Beautiful English garden. Don't miss it. The little restaurant does refreshments through the day and the light lunch was excellent. Cash only please!

This is a wonderful garden by anyone's reckoning. The range of plants, many quite unusual, and the way that the very steeply sloping site has been planted, makes for a most interesting visit. The scenic vistas on a fine day that we were able to enjoy were an added bonus. Other reviewers have mentioned the famed Kiftsgate rose. What a... More

Do visit - it's so close to Hidcote that it's easy to see both in 1 visit to this lovely part of the country.

Lovely garden. We visited Hidcote garden just before (the gardens are very close together), which is bigger and more to see. But Kiftsgate is worth the visit for it's own style. We enjoyed the flowers very much and knowing that the third generation female gardener (who sold us the tickets) continues to maintain and enhance this beautiful family property, makes... More

Kiftsgate gardens are well kept and are really quite different from many other gardens. There is quite a lot to see on the same level as the entrance and around the house. Kiftsgate is high up above the village of Mickleton and for the more mobile visitors there are gardens on the slopes of the hill and below more at... More

I accidentally took friends to Hidcote for a second time so went to Kiftsgate and we have never been back to Hidcote. This is a most beautiful, loved, family garden ! Spectacular views. Arrived 15minutes after the gardens opened12.15 on a Monday, we enjoyed the gardens practically to ourselves for the first hour. The heady scent of roses followed us round- picture perfect, well maintained. Plenty of benches and seats to relax and enjoy these amazing gardens. we were allowed to take a tray with a light lunch into the garden, absorbing every... More
