Everywhere in England you will see the people's love of flowers and gardens, but the most outstanding example of English gardening that we saw was the Hidcote Manor Garden. Hidcote Manor Garden is a National Trust property. The gardens are beautiful with hidden rooms and walkways. The NT volunteers will happily tell you more information about the property and plants as you wander around. There are organised trips around the gardens too. I would check opening times as it isn't everyday. Cafe, loos and plant sales as you'd expect.... more

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Hidcote Manor Garden -- especially the different types of gardens found there. We would go back again in a heartbeat! more

So disappointed...Hidcote was closed midweek. A sign on th the main road to that effect would have been helpful and saved us unnecessary travel in trying to get to the place! I so wanted to see this garden, reputedly one of the most lovely in England...so I guess I will have to save it for another trip!! :) more
