We've been wanting to try this pub/restaurant for some time now. We did a nice walk and ended up just outside the pub so decided to pop in for lunch. The sandwich choices were excellent and they were tasty and nicely presented. The inside is much bigger than it appears on the outside. It was mid summer but inside was... More

We ate here on a lovely sunny day in the garden. The town was busy but we were able to get a table in the shade of a parasol. The food was simple and delicious. Well presented and excellent service. We had local cider to drink which was tasty and refreshing. We would return next time we are in the... More

This place has a nice atmosphere and good food. I had their delicious sausage and mash, and enjoyed Champions League soccer on the tv.

This 14C charming Cotswold pub is located off the main high street and 200 yards from St James's Church. The bar area is quite dark and cosy with open fires and stone floors. They have a separate dining area to the left of the bar but we prefer the bar area as we like the atmosphere. (it has been nicely... More

Went on the 4th of Oct, as a couple. Didn't book but turned up at 6pm, and was told food not served till 6.30. We were given a table and enjoyed drinks until the waitress came at 6.30. I had the "mr lashfords" pork and leek sausages, on a bed of mash and home made ratatouille. Delicious ! My partner... More

As part of a group of friends visiting Chipping Camden for a weekend, I found this pub very welcoming. The food was very good both sandwiches for lunch and evening meals. The staff were very friendly and looked after us really well.

Stopped for lunch purely by chance and we were both glad we did! Only ate a very agreeable sandwich but watched as the staff brought out cooked lunches for other diners which looked great and judging by the comments tasted good.We drank a couple of cask beers which were well kept and was good ale, which is praise indeed from northern...
