You will love this compact little museum. It focuses on the workers who came here specifically to ply their crafts in a rural setting. If crafts and craftsmanship are not your thing then you might want to spend your money elsewhere since it is a bit pricey for the size. PS the gift shop can be accessed without a fee... More

First, to set expectations: this is a tiny museum. It will take you up to 30 minutes to read all the displays in the single room. And for that scale, it's fairly pricey. That said, the content is interesting and well-presented. I was frankly surprised by both the talent and the breadth the local craftsman's work.

We adore Chipping Campden, and it was a treat to find a new place to visit within this beautiful Cotswolds village. The museum is set in a sensitively restored barn, and showcases, through the various displays, the work of the craftspeople, artists, designers and architects who have lived and worked in Chipping Campden and surrounding areas during the time of... For what there is to see at the museum I think it should be free with a voluntary contribution not around £6 each.

I thought I'd pay this place a visit as it is surrounded by spectacular examples of cotswolds architecture and presumed this was how one gained access to it. Upon paying 11 pounds entry for me and my wife I was shocked to discover it is in fact possibly the smallest museum in the whole world. It boasts amongst it's few... More

One important thing you should realize is that the museum is TINY – it’s basically a single hall, one part of which hosts the permanent exposition of hardly a dozen displays and the other even smaller part hosts temporary exhibitions. The exhibits are interesting if you are into A&C but the quantity of them does not warrant a dedicated trip... More

Interesting exhibition about the local Arts and Crafts movement of the 1930s and before. Well laid out and informative. Staff very friendly and helpful. As it was half term there was a children's activity session going on.

This is a gem, intelligently assembled and interpreted, with a suitable bookshop. Allow plenty of time for Chipping Campden generally, and ensure that Court Barn is on your programme. Don't rush, imbibe and feel enriched. We have these craftspeople much to thank for.

I only see one room of exhibition. Although the exhibition is informative and gives a good history overview, I first thought that was just an introduction to the whole museum. When I found out that was the only room to see, I felt rather upset as the entrance fee of four pounds is not quite cheap. They also had another... More

We visited to see the Arts and Crafts silver and were not disappointed. The receptionist was knowledgable and passionate about the museum and this enhanced the visit. We thought the entrance fee was reasonable for the quality of the exhibits and information. The opportunity to see local artists current work was a bonus. Plan your visit though as the museum...
