Last week my wife and I visited Walker's Garden Centre for lunch. The layout of the serving area is rather confusing and would be much enhanced by re-consideration of the design. It was also not clear what was on the lunch menu. However, we ordered onion soup and basil and tomato. Both were very nice. In addition we ordered ham... More

Love to visit all year round but eespecially at Christmas. Shop is interesting with beautiful bits and pieces that you won't find everywhere. The cafe has lovely food, scones are huge but delicious. Plants are varied and well priced. Lovely to walk or picnic in the garden and relax. Perfect for a few hours entertainment, family love to visit (... More

Ladies lunch was really nice! Home made quiche and salad. Good portion sizes. Can sit outside in sheltered area if you want. Coffee are good and not over priced. Staff friendly. Nice decor. Would go again.

The nursery has undergone a number of changes over the years and has definitely improved for the better. It sells far more than plants, shrubs, garden furniture and gardening equipment. There is a really nice deli section, which sells mouth-watering quiches, pastries, scones, cakes, nibbles, cheese, olives....and there's always a selection of samples to taste. There is also a wide... More

As a party of five we called in before going to the airport for a spot of lunch, the bric-a-brac and garden area is very, very nice, the restaurant is also very nice looking, BUT O dear me; Only one in the party was successful in acquiring decent food, one ordered a sandwich; the bread was like leather even though... AVIOD! The cafe may look nice, but staff are rude and unorganised and the food is over priced rubbish! This is the second (and last!) time we have visited walkers cafe for breakfast. To be told both times that they do not serve "all day breakfast" between 11am-12pm. But instead could have a "breakfast panini". The staff we're rude and... More

If you out that way or fancy a light lunch nip into Walkers and try the ''sharing platter.'' 3 types of meat, pork pie, various salads and bread rolls. There is certainly enough for 2 people. Alternatively go for their choice of hot food, but it sometimes seems as if its been '' sunbathing'' under the lights/heat for a tad... More
