Like most garden centres there are the greenery and shrubs to pick and choose. Not forgetting the 'Garden extras'. After a light meal, coffee and cake (which I enjoyed) I then ventured beyond the car park. Following the path around flower beds, bushes and other delights. A bit open in the winter, can't wait to come back in late spring/early... More

Live just down the road and often pop in for tea and cake or lunch. It's always busy which speaks for itself . Good value and delicious home made fare . Highly recommend.

Lovely gift shop and garden centre, Santa was a hit with my grandchildren in December however the service in the cafe lets this place down. Very confusing where you order hot and cold food, staff unhelpful and lots of tables needing clearing. At our visit my grandaughter simply wanted a childs lunch advertised as a choice of sandwich, cake, drink... More

There was a local market on when I attended, this was quite expensive. The displays for Xmas in the shop were really good with unusual items and mostly were a reasonably priced. The restaurant was too busy with a long queue.

Walkers has a lovely gift shop that is worth a visit but the garden centre is a little bit on pricey side. The cafe is nothing to shout about with what seem's to be disorganised staff. My friend and I had lunch there and the staff were quite rude when we pointed out there were no clean plates, and could... More

The gift shop here is outstanding as well as the cafe, I'm no gardener but when I took my Dad he was really impressed with the variety of plants but did think they were a tad expensive.

Fabulous home cooked fare. Visited on New years eve afternoon. I had stilton and broccoli soup with a cheese scone which was very hearty and tasty. Scone big enough for two left me full to the brim. Companion had a fruit scone and tea, which again was big enough to share. Disappointingly though, the Kilner style jars containing home made... More

Walkers is the best garden centre in the area. They have a fine selection of plants every season with plenty of choice for all pockets. Some other aspects to look out for are the beautiful gardens (on the right of the entrance gate) the cafe which s set in a lovely situation by a pool and bridge and best of... More
