Lovely day out, great new play area and sensory trail by the main car park, lovely open green areas especially by the old golf course, plenty of picnic tables, good disability access, had a walk around lake lots of ducks, geese and wildlife, liked the information signs, very informative especially for children. The park is looking really good after many... More

Went here on 2.7.14 for the first time in years ( Even though we live nearby and had heard some bad reports ) and was very disappointed. The place needs a lot of TLC. Went with my husband and 3 year old grandson who I have to say enjoyed himself. The little play area near the car park is lovely,... More

Sandall Park used to be great, it had loads to do.. from the swings and slides, the 2 different boating lakes, 2 putting greens, a pitch and putt, and a little electric mini-train... After years of neglect by the town council there is nothing but a smaller play area, and lots of open space.. the train is gone, the golf... More

A nice, clean park suitable for all ages, a lovely lake to walk round and 2 good play grounds for the kids. There is a lovely cafe there which is good value for money but the public loos look a bit dodgy. All in all a good park for the family for a morning or afternoon out.

A pleasant park. Well looked after and popular with families. The cafe in the park is a good place for snacks and is always busy.

Went for a quiet walk with the dog around the lake. Money has been spent recently cleaning up the park and walkways. It was lovely. The water is clean and fishing good. The kids can go in the adventure playground and there is always parking available free. A good place to spend a few hours.

Can always pick up some bread crusts for the bread and have a proper cup of tea, the dinners are proper grandma traditional dinners and... More

Huge woods right in the heart of Doncaster. The tracks and trails are well maintained and the car park is easy to find, just at the end of the straight mile which runs along the side of Doncaster Racecourse. There are lots of bins for depositing dog poo and most people are very good at picking it up and keeping... More

I've been to Sandall Park many times, it's great any time of the year to visit for walk and a trip to cafe which have good food at a decent price severed by friendly staff, there is a small play area next to the cafe, with a small car park. One half of the park has a large pond/lake which... More
