Been visiting here since I was a child. Good play area, cheap little café, lake with ducks etc. Good place to go if you have a dog, plenty of open space.

This is a really lovely park to visit, it's well maintained you can stroll round the lake, picnic on the grass and there are plenty of things to keep the children entertained. There is also a cafe there although it seems back to front, would be much better facing the lake. Well done Friends of the Park who must work... More

Lovely green area in middle of town. Ideal for families as there are protected play parks and plenty of green areas to play football in. Toilets are clean. But I would like to ask parents to keep their children under control and not chase and shout at the geese and ducks.

Friends of Sandal Park put a lot of time and effort into making this lovely park into a place for rest and relax OR on special occasions to partake in events which are too numerous to mention all. The lake and the wildlife it supports are an attraction in itself. Children are well catered for in all areas of the... More
