Huge woods right in the heart of Doncaster. The tracks and trails are well maintained and the car park is easy to find, just at the end of the straight mile which runs along the side of Doncaster Racecourse. There are lots of bins for depositing dog poo and most people are very good at picking it up and keeping... More

I've been to Sandall Park many times, it's great any time of the year to visit for walk and a trip to cafe which have good food at a decent price severed by friendly staff, there is a small play area next to the cafe, with a small car park. One half of the park has a large pond/lake which... More

I attended here about 3x weeks ago with my small grandchildren, they enjoy walking round the lake, although the larger birds are a little intimidating. They especially like the park with the swings, slides etc. The cafe serves some decent food which is not too costly. could do with an overall, in need of new furniture and decorating.

Well for my husband it was time to reminsice, and share his childhood memories with our children. It was enjoyed by our children as much as he use too, but we no longer live in the area. But,we come back regular to visit family.

Visited to see if the park work was looking good apart from 10 council workers trying to start a lorry in the park it was great but what made it better was the food at the cafe as always great value & really nice. Overall a good day...

my experiences of Sandal Park go back many decades, and are probably a little rose tinted. Many years of neglect by the local authority have required considerable effort by volunteers and other bodies to reverse the sad decline of the park. It is now starting to show signs of it's potential and I look forward to improvement over the next... More
