Went yesterday with my four children (4yrs,3yrs and 2 x 5 months) and had a lovely day out. The park is reasonably priced since there are plenty of animals, facilities and it doesn't feel commercialised. For young children there is a wooded adventure playground as well as an indoor play barn (which is massive). The toilet facilities were clean and... More

A lovely wildlife park with happy well looked after animals in lovely surroundings. Their rescue of the lions was amazing and it was great to see the lions in such good health. Lovely cafe and shop. A great day out for all the family.

First visited zoo in 2009 when it first opened for the money we enjoyed it but they had a long way to go. Stayed at parents for the week from Manchester so spend a lot of time at Chester zoo. We where very happy with yorkshire wildlife park it's clean, tidy loads of seating, food places not badly priced but... More

I visited the park with my mum & my 10 month old. We all had such a great day. My little one loved seeing all the animals & we were sat watching the monkeys for at least 30minutes. All the workers were friendly & made us feel welcome. The park is accessible with a push chair, you just need to... More

Took my granddaughter here and had a great day bar the weather. A lot to see, great variety of animals in largish enclosures. Favourite was the lima enclosure. Food and drinks well priced good play area and nice staff.

Went on a school day so there was a lot of school trips but the children were all very well behaved, they even had their own area for picnic lunches. Good signage from the main road, large free carpark, it is quite expensive but we were happy with the day, lots of animals to see and lots of space for... More

Loads of animals to see including some big ones like the lions, tigers and leapords plus giraffes, baboons and lots more. Decent day ticket price and plenty of play areas for the kids. Food is OK but standard family fare. They do special 'ranger days' that give you a real insight into the animal welfare and great for birthday treats.

I met up with my friend for a day out and having worked for the past twelve years with animals was very impressed. The enclosures are huge, the animals in excellent condition and the park haven't just crammed as many different species in to attract the public. When I spoke to the member of staff doing the Painted Dog talk... More
