We attended the safari experience on 1st Aug and thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and evening tribute band and fireworks. The pak itself is fantastic, with interesting talks on the animals. It's a very spacious park with plenty of facilities, good shops and plenty of food and drink outlets, along with a wide range of animals. An absolute must for a... More

This was my partners first visit here and he's wanted to go for quite a while now. It was my second visit and I can see changes from three years ago. Our day out was a great success, yes there's along way to go but if you look where Chester Zoo started from... The enclosures are large and well thought... More

Excellent wildlife park, well laid out and lots to see. The paths are gravel and all on the flat. We had no problems pushing a pushchair around. The animal enclosures are large and built to mimic the natural environments. The rescued lions had large grassy areas with rocky outcrops, waterfalls and lakes. The enclosures are so big that it is... More

We had an enjoyable day out at YWP. You have to remember that the Lions here were rescued from a more miserable existence in Romanian zoos. Some people are saying how inactive the animals are - what do you expect? At least the animals have larger enclosures than zoos of old, thankfully, so don't expect to get up close and... More

Lots to see and do here what ever the time of year. Take a packed lunch or buy something at one of the many cafe's around the park. Young and old will enjoy a visit here.

We visited Yorkshire Wildlife Oark for the first time with four grandchildren aged five to twelve. Even though the weather was not wonderful - intermittent rain showers, we all thoroughly enjoyed the day. There are lots of animals to see both large and small. I particularly enjoyed the polar bear who seemed to be enjoying relaxing in the sunshine. We... More

A great family day out. We were amazed at the care and skill that is being put by Yorkshire Wildlife Park into looking after animals and birds that really need our help to survive. The enclosures are 'world standard' and created to match the animals' natural environment. We particularly enjoyed seeing the polar bears completely at home in their enclosure,... More

We went to a safari night at Yorkshire wildlife park. We had a really good time. The staff were nice and polite. The animals seemed well looked after. My children enjoyed seeing all the animals but their favourite was probably the polar bears. Like a lot of places admittance is expensive but it was worth the money. I would advise... More
