The castle was lovely to see, lots of different species to see. A great day out for all. The Snow Leopards are always brilliant to see, as not many zoological parks hold them.

Went for a day out to see the animals and wasn't expecting much as the last time I visited many years ago there weren't many animals but I was pleasantly suprised by the zoo especially the penguin enclosure. Great day out for anyone but kids will especially love it.

I bought my girlfriend an experience day for her 25th birthday - Zoo Keeper for the day. There was a long wait to get booked in because the experience is so popular (they even run them most days) we finally got there and visited this weekend. First appearances matter and our initial one was not good - if we'd been... More

i took my 3 grandchildren last week and was very dissapolnted with the lack of animals on display.most of the animals were locked up. flamingos were not even in there pool just full of leaves. the only good thing was the penguin pool, the childrens farm only had a few rabbits, chickens, pigs. would not go back again.

Have been a handful of times as an adult and numerous times as a child but sadly I think the zoo has had its day. It's totally over grown in places and so you can't actually see the animals. There isn't must signage around so make sure you get a map. It tends to have monkey after monkey after monkey.... More

Me and my partner went here Saturday morning, staff very good and plenty to see. Think the cashiers should change how they word the donation part as i felt on the spot, 'the price of an adult ticket is £14 which includes a donation is that ok?' Erm ok. Felt too awkward to say no to be honest. We got... More
