I took my children to Dudley zoo last August, the entry fee seemed a bit steep then plus car park fee. The zoo its self is a good size, with good selection of animals only down fall is fact is all on a hill. We had lunch which was bit steep but we enjoyed it. Was a little play area... More

Lovely hot sunny day trip to the zoo it is worth a visit and quite inexpensive, we had buy one get one free out of local paper so that was even better.Normal price is only £14 per adult so its a cheap day out.Abit hilly but if thats a problem there's cable cars or a land train to take you... More

The animals were displayed well. The paths and maps easy to follow. The amusement area and that part does resemble a building site. Which it's did when I visited nearly 5 years ago. So maybe they should put more man power in to finish it. Only real down side. When you get to the castle the food options are hotdog... More

Family visit to Dudley Zoo a few days ago for my child's 2nd birthday. This was the first time in many years since my last visit, it hasn't changed that much apart from the animal pens have been upgraded and there are areas still under development (but this didn't ruin our day out). The best point is that you can... More

We visited here on a very overcast ,cold day in May and we felt at times we were the only visitors Firstly you enter a very large ticket/souvenir area which appears too big for what they have to fill it with and wander into the Zoo itself a bit of a trek past a closed fun fair area then onto... We weren't intending to go to the Zoo as we had been to Twycross the week before but the traffic on the M5 was dire so we pulled off at J3 and had a look. I hadn't been to Dudley Zoo for years and hadn't really got the best of memories. What a change. It's a very good and the... More

I have just returned from a trip to Dudley Zoo with my family and what a lovely day we had. I have read a few reviews that were from several years ago and most of them were very depressing reading. A lot of work appears to have been done since then and there are lots of lovely areas for the... More

We spent a lazy Saturday afternoon wandering around the local zoo with two of our grandchildren. The youngest loved the little train that takes you up the top of the hill which on a hot day was welcome. Although a little pricy for admission, you almost don't mind if the funds are being used for conservation and there are also... More

These animals are in tiny and dirty enclosures which in no mimic there natural environment it's a over priced dump and the kids amusement area is filthy and on what looks like a building sight! The toilets are disgusting the food is hideous and as mentioned I was generally appalled at the conditions particularly the sea lions, penguins and giraffes... More
