Myself and my four year old spent a lovely day at Dudley zoo today. It seemed bigger than I remembered, with lots more animals. The giraffes and tigers were a big hit but there are so many different animals to see the kids definitely won't get bored. The animals are in huge enclosures rather than small spaces and there is... Hadn,t been for decades , and my memories were of a grim and run down place. However having family staying over B/H with 2 under 10 s we gave it another go and were pleasantly surprised. There has been clearly a lot of money spent to make it brighter and , although I am no expert, seemingly much better for... More

Was very disappointed with the amount of animals enclosure that where empty. Also a lot of litter and very little staff. Think they should reduce price while works are taking place

I hadn't been to Dudley Zoo for over 20 years, we decided to have a family day out. Me, hubby, youngest son, eldest son his gf and their 4 children. We were blessed with good weather and had a fun filled leisurely day together. Lots to see and do, though no elephants or zebras now. But, there's so much to... More

We went on a very very hot day this summer and a few of the animals were hard to spot but when you did they were as impressive and majestic as you'd have hoped. The castle too was a very very nice extra and a great place for your lunch or picnic. The zoo is being refurbished in places but... More

I looked online for some where to take my daughter over the bank holiday weekend, Dudley zoo was near by and was reasonably priced so we chose to go there. Upon arrival the car parking area is poorly laid out and looks like a building site, I understand they are going through refurbishment at the moment so that may explain... More

We took our two grand-daughters to the zoo for the day. We have not been for about ten years and were pleasantly surprised at the improvements that had been made. The animals were all very well cared for and seemed very happy. We went for coffee in The Oak Kitchen, it was very neat and clean and the staff were... More

We were aware of the costs before arriving and thought it may be a little over-priced. However, by the end of our day we considered it very good value. We had all visited before in the past and remebered different things, mostly negative, so were a bit apprehensive. We arrived at about 10:30. Parking, because of the new car park,... More

Simply one of the best days I have ever had. Thanks to the amazingly knowledgable and entertaining zoo keepers who made this an unforgettable once in a lifetime event. I may just have to buy someone this gift (like mine was bought for me) so I can tag along and do it all again!!

On the spur of the moment, we decided to pay a visit to Dudley Zoo today. It's somewhere I have been meaning to visit for years, but I live far enough away not to remember that most of the time. It is pleasantly easy to get to (this coming from someone who hates driving in cities) and is well signposted.... More
