This is a lovely little zoo, plenty of animals to keep the kids interested, the castle's history will keep the adults interested - but wear comfy shoes, its all built into the side of a hill, so you will need to take a deep breath before you start!

Took the family for a day out. The kids loved the animals and had a great time on the rides that were there. I enjoyed my day here , the zoo was an interesting place, I liked that it was surrounding a castle. It was easy to navigate around. The animals looked clean and well cared for. I loved the toucan , the only zoo in Britain to have one. I must say that the zoo did look a bit tired / old... More

I've just paid £35 for a cold panini, a soup, a small curry and 4 hot drinks which took four attempts to get right. Understaffed - over priced. To top it off I paid £15 per adult at the gate including a donation apparently, which I wasn't given the option to not pay if I didn't want to. We still... More

I went with my sister and niece who is 3, the car park was being done out which meant walking through a building site which was quite hard pushing a pushchair over all the rubble, the train was not running which was a shame as my niece enjoyed this very much the last time she went, which then meant walking... I visited the zoo today with three young children, all free with vouchers found online, just £30 total for two adults..they are pumping a lot of money into the zoo to improve a lot of the facility's.. The whole place is well spaced out with great views. All the children enjoyed seeing the animals and even the castle at the top... More

Just had the privilege of a members preview of the new Castle Creatures exhibition in the crypt at Dudley castle! What a real treat for bat lovers like me! None of the complete darkness as in other zoo's like London and Paignton, you really get to see these delightful creatures in this fantastic exhibition! Also a great history lesson about... More

My 3 year old son and I have an annual membership for the zoo (which is fantastic value) so we visit at least twice a month. The zoo has come on leaps and bounds recently with improvments taking place all the time. The staff are extremely friendly and answer all questions asked whether about the animals or just general information.... More

I visited Dudley zoo today with my three year old who had a fab time. We were there around four hours there is a lot to do and see, with several small play areas for young children on the way round. The castle remains are stunning and the zoo is well kept. However we ate at the restaurant next to... More
