We took our grandson who has a fascination with tigers. From the moment we arrived we both reminisced about our earliest visit to dudley zoo, myself being taken by my own grandma! We took a picnic and had a fab day out. Loved the improvements that they have made to some of the animal enclosures. I would allow at least... More

Good fun for half a day. But we didn't stay longer. The amount of hills and there steepness are ridiculous for children, the disabled and anyone with a wheelchair. Took over an hour to get one serving of chips in the only cafe that was open and most of the animals were locked inside so we couldn't see them. Won't... More

We had a lovely day out with our 6 & 2 year old boys. Lots of animals to see & they all looked very well cared for. Great to see the improvements being made & we particulary liked the old photos which are now displayed around the zoo. We had lunch in the cafe & thought that the food was... More

Lovely zoo. Lots of animals. Play areas for kids. Couple of places to eat - not great food but ok. Clean loos. Season ticket is good value if you live locally as we do.

Visited here many times in my life, and recently decided to take my five year old who is locomotive obsessed following a mysterious tooting which can be heard from our back garden. On arrival we where offered a slight discount making it not quite so outrageously expensive but once inside as ever the museum never fails to exite. You literally... More

During the Christmas break we decided to take the Children out to Dudley Zoo and Castle having been before during the Summer months. Although we had a lovely day out we were disappointed as some of the attractions were closed. There was only one cafeteria open and it was quite a busy day. Understandably, during quieter months there was work... More

Whilst staying at the nearby Copthorne Hotel we decided to visit Dudley Zoo. Our children are older but thoroughly enjoyed the experience, particularly the ability to get really close to the animals. To be able to see lions, tigers, giraffes and many others from just a few feet away was great. Whilst the zoo was very quiet due to the... More

We had a laugh and enjoyed the day, not expecting too much we weren't disappointed and thankfully the animals were oblivious to everything. Both parking and hot drink prices ludicrous, cheaper in the V&A, British Museum etc. But you will never forget the look on a lemurs face as you try to pose with it for a photograph.
