Love the fact we have such a great zoo on our doorstep. All animals well cared for an clean. The castle it's self has its own atmosphere all together such history ! Also a lot of improvement in the last 5 years each time we go it seems to have improved.

If you are lucky enough to go on a sunny day it is a good day out. Parking no problem. Going around the zoo, no problem. Animals are all sorts from lions to monkeys. Reptiles are revolting but they are there if that's your sort. Orang utan are the best and the funniest.

Which makes the perfect setting for their falconry displays (although Dudleys own birdlife is quite aggressive with both gulls and crows really dong their best to drive the falcon back to its handler). There is a fair bit of walking with various hills but it is worth it to make... More

I do love animals, and once you get over the fact that all these animals are in cages etc. it's a good day out for all ages. Yes the cages/surrounds are a bit tatty, some have trees coming out of the concrete, but all of the animals looked well looked after, and very content. It was a nice day when... More
