born and breed in Dudley. Visited for the first time in years, not much has really changed and we were done and dusted within a couple of hours. Plenty of staff working hard and good selection of animals to see but very over priced and then had to pay extra for parking. Worth a visit but be prepared to spend... More

my PREVIOUS review got deleted so im back to get my point across! im a university animal care student and i came here as part of my course, and me and my fellow students were completely appalled with this place as soon as we got through the gates. the money going in to this place is clearly being spent elsewhere... My mom took my children back in August for the day and decided to write a letter of complaint for several reasons. She got sent a free return pass so I took the children with my husband. Cars drive around the park which is very dangerous. Toilets were dirty. Halloween events? Yes if you count a bit of Halloween bunting... More

It seems just lately there are a spate of reviews giving the zoo a kicking. Strangely these reviews are first timers,if I didn't know better I'd say this is an effort by some group to give the zoo a bad name with reviews which are basically a pack of lies. Shame they can't find something better to do. For the... More

Had a day off work, so booked a couple of tickets for me and the wife. The enclosures we're pretty small, with multiple species of animal in one enclosure. The place is seriously dated. They seem to have plenty of new Dudley zoo vans to drive round in, but the animal enclosures are small, dirty and unstimulating. Felt quite sorry... More

We came on the Sunday at the start of Half term, parked with ease and paid with ease. I have many childhood memories from family trips here, so was really keen to see what my animal loving 11 year old thought of it. Some of the enclosures did look a little tired, but you can definitely see what has been... More

After hearing so many bad reviews I was a little apprehensive about visiting Dudley Zoo & Castle! But I can honestly say it is lovely. Ticket prices are incredibly good value (with most expensive adult ticket being £14.00) and obviously under 3's attend for free. It was fairly busy for a Sunday, but I didn't feel we were rushed around... More

Stayed in the area for the night and instead of driving straight home thought we would treat the children with a surprise visit to the zoo! Waste of time, unless you pack your printer! Cost for family of 5 £55, if I had brought my printer £35. When I asked at reception, they couldn't/wouldn't help didn't even have a leaflet... More

This was our first visit to Dudley Zoo and Castle and we hope to visit again when next in the area. We are members of Chester Zoo which we visit regularly and we enjoy visiting other zoo's when we can. The animals all looked fine to us, plenty of space in most enclosures. We didn't use the train or the... More

Take no notice of the negative reviews!! I took my grandchildren and they had a wonderful time, the Lemur walk-through was amazing as you are right in the compound with them. I searched the internet for vouchers (Voucher Cloud) and was able to get free child with a paying adult so it worked out very reasonable. The smallest grandchild had... More
