After a visit to the Black Country Museum find time to see the Crooked House at Lower Gornley. A natural phenomenon created by underground mining. Inside the public house everything is topsy turvey, Watch coins roll up hill, the tilted grandfathers clock but still works. A superb visit

Took our 2 daughters (6 &10) for a visit on 09/04/15. They found it an interesting twist to a normal stop for a drink out and had lots of fun on the play area. The staff were friendly and the drinks were nice. No food ordered on this visit so cannot comment, but the kids want to go back again.

We visited the Crooked House of a lunchtime, a party of 6 in total. It was pretty quiet so we thought we would be served and enjoying our meal pretty quickly.....how wrong was I! The lunchtime menu is limited to say the least, with only one veggie option being a cheese baguette. The choice beings limited, we opted for the... More

Lovely food, great in the summer so you can eat outside and watch children on play area. Food has been really nice every time we have been. Good for families with children or just couples.

The old part is incredible but I feel it's ruined by the annexe but I understand the need to make money Unfortunately on the day I visited the beer was bland and I hope that next time it'll be better.
