Visited in December for lunch. Interesting building, amazing that it's still standing!! That apart its exceedingly average as far as the food is concerned, certainly can only be described as pub grub and not particularly good value. Any lovers of real ale should beware, it's badly kept and quite dreadful. This pub is in an area where there is plenty... More

The strangest feeling when you see a ball bearing rolling up hill and opening a door that looks like it is leaning towards you but is actually leaning away from you so is much harder to open than you would think. Well worth a visit.

Lovely quaint old pub, you would never find this unless told about it as it is situated down a long old driveway which you would never believe led to a great little pub a must see just to say you have seen it they also serve traditional beers with a smile

We were told about this place by locals, and it certainly wasn't a disappointment! Tucked away down a pretty country lane, the first sight of this place is pretty awesome. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Were able to provide history and information about the pub. Definitely worth a look.

This pub is down a winding narrow lane, parking can be a bit tight depending on the time of year, the first sight you get of the pub makes you think you have had a pints, plenty of outside seating small bar and lounge, look out for the clock and also the snooker ball you can try on the window... The crooked house is worth a visit to see the pub , we visited the restaurant with visiting family. The lunchtime menu was on offer. The dishes sound lovely. We chose food from the seasonal menu. The waitress explained that the dishes were deconstructed , quirky enough and a new experience. I chose the Stilton balls, they came beautifully presented... More

I took my 4 year old daughter here on my own one lunch time. It had been many years since I had last been there and dropped in on the off chance they still did food but mainly to show my little girl the 'wonky' house. We were pleased to find that they did food and were ushered into the... More
