Tatty and in need of a total clean inside....ouside toilets much the same. The worse thing was the uneducated and rude staff on the desk, couldn't be bothered is an understatement! Whoever owns this place must have the same attitude and they all need a Customer care Course! No one was bothered what was happening inside and there were small... More

Years ago, you would toddle off to some local village hall on a saturday afternoon to go and buy something that someone else didnt want anymore... in.more recent times, due mainly to the british obsession of buying used, discarded items this bizarre tradition had to expand into farmers fields... we call these "car boot sales" and sadly the village halls... A great place to visit of a morning in the rain, it's hard to articulate just how much stuff there is. Be warned it's not all antiques though, some could be termed mass produced 'craft' but you may find a gem as we did. However it would have been really nice if the people on the desk might smile and... More

We visited yesterday on the recommendation of our daughter in law . Ok you have to pay to get in 75p as we are pensioners, & it's a bit grotty , but there's such a lot to look at . We spent a couple of hours looking around . I was looking for a child's chair for my collection of... More

Visited with my grandma today. We both loved it. Could have spent all day looking round. Can't wait to go again with a van!

always plenty to choose from in this massive space filled with treasures. The price is reasonable. Go when the dealers are in and you get some back ground on what you are buying.

A lovely place that takes you back in time and ideal for all price hunters from low to high. Not great access for prams though. Some areas you can look round well but then others are piled high with narrow access so did struggle to see everything as didn't want to leave the pram. Some fab bargains to be had... More

Went here yesterday with a friend and loved it. I could have spent the whole day looking at the vast array of antiques and pre loved furniture, collectables and just about everything. Like a trip down memory lane and certainly not over priced . A really good day for looking for something unusual or just browsing . Nice shops in... More

First you have to pay to get in, which already rings bells. Then when you get in there are some old items, but it is mostly brick a brack. One persons junk is another persons treasure. I would not waste your time going to visit this place. My wife and I are visiting Preston and doing a Google search we... More
