We paid our £1.50 per head entrance fee and spent 2 hours wandering through the hundreds of bric a brac stands. There was a mind-boggling mix of antiques, collectables, furniture, vintage clothing and more modern items and we collected several small items, totalling over £150. Whilst we were very pleased with our purchases, we were disappointed that we were not even... More

We have been before and I feel that the standard has dropped dramatically. A charity shop on a bad day. I walked away with nothing which is unheard of for me visiting any kind of antique shop. Don't think I will bother trying again a waist of £1.50 entrance fee

This is the second time we have visited the antique centre. Both times whilst visiting the Lake District...both times on a mission to get a couple of things....and both times not dissapointed. It's a huge interior, so you need time to look around. Everything from furniture, jewellry, glassware and pottery. Retro and antique. This time we were looking for a... More

Went to this antique s place on an off chance . Had to pay to enter but thought the 1.50 charge was reasonable considering the vast size of the place . Plenty to see and prices were reasonable . We purchased a few item but found the staff on the cash desk a little unfriendly in servicing people . A... More

Drove here with family as we fancied looking around as we are renovating our home. Get to the doors- £7.50 for us all to get in. No chance. Absolute con and a joke that you have to pay to go in. We turned around and got back in the car for the pure fact that they're trying to charge. The... More

I enjoy coming and looking around this place. You could be there for hours searching through all of the different things. Literally has everything you could want, old or new.

If you are into your Antiques or looking for some bargan furniture then this is the place for you. There is a charge of £1.50 each to get in but if you buy anything while you are in there you get that back so it's ok. Warning the place is huge! makesure you allow well over an hour to do... More

This place is okay if your looking for good furniture, unfortunately most of the place is just full of junk at silly prices, more like a jumble sale. What a wasted journey for us.

We come here regularly- about every 2 months because although there's mostly rubbish there are good bargains on quality staff and the excitement of what you might find in that huge place is worth a visit. My rating for v good is not based on the quality of the stuff, only the experience of it. I have noticed a positive... More

This place is wonderful, like a massive jumble sale of beautiful vintage delights! I could spend all day here. It is a jumble, it is serendipitous and fantastic. Full of bargains. You will not be able to stop spending! The service is a bit rubbish and the facilities poor but I don't mind that as its cheap and cheerful. xxx
