I have just returned from an attempted visit, my friends and 1 (all 18) were refused entrance to 22 jump street because our ID did't meet the jobsworth assistants ridiculous standards. We even had photo id! Appalled by the customer service, no attempt to be polite was made by her at all.

On a wet Wednesday in the middle of half term you would expect the town centre cinema to have its act together - but no! At 10.30am I dropped into the Apollo Leamington to book tickets for the 12.50pm showing of Malificent. They have removed the booking desk so if you don't want to queue with everyone who wants popcorn... More

We used our 2 for 1 special this evening to try the cinema in Leamington again. They don't appear to have addressed any of the issues related to space or size of the screening rooms, just new carpet, paint, and seats (which aren't any more comfortable than they used to be). There are other local cinemas that provide better value... More

I've been recently with the new refurb ! There was hardly any leg room before and now there's none at all! I found it so uncomfortable and I'm only 5'4 I dread to think where my Bfs knees will be if he went again and he's only 6ft . I've had better experience at the picture house and curzon cinemas... The Apollo is showing its age a little now, especially when compared to the cinemas in Coventry. In my experience, the staff are usually great and the screens clean and tidy, but there are issues with layout. As mentioned by other reviewers, the seats are on a relatively gentle incline, meaning that if anybody gets up during the showing, they... More

Very poor cinema vs. Cineworld and Odeon. Tired and dated inside - screen seats do not angle enough and are too tall. Toilets are quite disgusting and tacky. Not enough seats either, can just cannot cope with the demand for films in the area. Leamington.Warwick really need a decent out of town cinema ASAP

I have used Apollo cinema Leamington several times over the last few months and my experience has gone quickly downhill during this time. Yesterday was possibly enough to stop me from going back. I went to a 15.30 showing in cinema 5 and the doors to the screen were 10 minutes late opening. Once open I took my seat but... More

If you want to experience every little detail of a movie then this is not the place. However, it is perfect if you want to have a cosy evening at the cinema. Friendly staff and awesome nachos do make up for the small screen size but it does leave you thinking what if the screens were bigger... Could be a... More
