Arriving on a wet Saturday, we went to the Tourist Information Office in the Pump Room building only to find it did not open until 11.30, so had an excellent latte at the cafe together with a choice of the mornings papers to read. After we had finished our drink we found the Information Office was still closed but a... More

The Tea Room: I was going to give poor, but it's hardly the assistant's fault that whoever gives the orders around the place is a cheapskate. With all its airs and graces, I would've thought that Leamington Spa would do tea very nicely: a tea bag floating in a cup full of boiled water, cup then slapped on a tray... More

Attended a family wedding. Very, very hot, no aircon, roof leaks badly when it rained. Cafe part OK, but service quite surly. The floor and tables were extremely dirty.

We went in all 3 areas of The Pump rooms.....The Museum (Free Entry), The Art Gallery (Free Entry) and the cafe. The museum is very interesting, and you learn about how Leamington Spa became a spa town and the information about the 'healing waters' from far back flows you through the decades seamlessly. There are fixed displays, working models and... More

The Museum and Exhibition in the Pump Rooms are very interesting. Incorporating (and respecting) the former spa rooms and features, the information, photographs and artefacts are displayed in a clear, logical way. The enthusiasm in the minds of those who created the museum/exhibitions is obvious. A gentle stroll through the riverside gardens, and up into the main shopping street (The... More

We found our visit here to be very interesting and informative. The Pump Rooms and Museum give a great insight into life in Royal Leamington Spa from the earliest days until more recent times. The photographs and items in the Museum were very well documented and you can easily put in an hour or so looking over them. The library... More

We spent a wee while here. Interesting to read and see how people lived years ago. The pump, rooms have a mock up of how it would have looked. Plenty to read about how people in the past lived.

This pump room is not what I was expecting. It is a history of how these facilities were used from the very early pioneer day up until 1980's. There was a very informative timeline of medicine, treatments, 'cures' and a re-creation of a Moroccan steam room which was rather lovely. There are also various displays on the hey-day that Leamington... More
