Owner description: now you don't have to travel to Alaska to enoy the thrills of working with these amazing sled dogs. Arctic Quest is the only company in the UK that gives you the chance to learn how to mush a team of dogs yourself. There is plenty of hands on time with the team as you become an integrual part of the team. We offer several packages including children and you can even choose to stay in our traditional Sami Tipi to fully experience life as a musher. This really is an experience of a lifetime and one not to be missed.

Set in a beautiful location. Felt safe at all times and the dogs were amazing. Vickie is very patient and friendly. I was a little nervous at the start but really got into it. A little disappointed the experience didn't last longer but it can be physically demanding. The dogs are well looked after and charming.

This was a surprise 50th birthday present from my wife. I didn't know what to expect but had a fantastic time. It was a great experience being pulled around the field on wheeled sleds by these fantastic dogs. Vickie and Chantelle were total professionals who had a wealth of knowledge about the dogs and it was obvious that they adored... More

An amazing day meeting and running the Huskies. This was the best birthday present I have had in 50 years. Vickie and Chantelle ensured we were safe to ride the sled and capable of enjoying the speed generated by the pulling pack..Briillant experience would recommend this to all dog lovers.

I bought this experience for my girlfriend for her birthday last year as she is a dog lover. I knew she would love it, and of course she did, however what I didn't expect was how much I would enjoy it. We stayed in the herders hut, which was really quite special, and then meeting the dogs and going sledding... More

We had a great time with the ladies and the dogs! Really informative, yet friendly tuition on using the "sleds". Felt safe and well observed at all times. With just the right amount of input to control the sled and dogs, off we went, where the dogs were the stars of the show! As a 16st lump, I was surprised... More

My husband and I rented the Herder's Hut for a Friday night and could not be more pleased with the accommodation and setting. Right on the Riven Avon, indoor fire, outdoor fire and all to ourselves. Yes there is a caravan site nearby but far enough that it caused no distraction at all nor could they venture near us. Plenty... More

Mirroring what many reviewers have written, Arctic Quest more than earn their ‘Excellent’ rating for providing a highly unique experience. Vickie & Chantelle offer their informal yet professional know-how to absolute beginners, with the dogs rightly at the heart of the experience. Chantelle's knowledge of the dog’s personality is a delight and matching up the dog’s traits with their human... More
