definitely worth it! Even if the weather was quite foggy and rainy. I'd suggest it to family and friends

Lovely (but steep) walks and views - ideal for a dog. And an old derelict castle remains to explore, There are no loos or drinks here but it's good for an hours walk.

Took our 4 year old here for a run around after lunch...they really liked the open space and being able to explore. Highly recommended to anyone who likes the out doors

This is a country park ,with views looking over the Kent Countryside , from on top of Detling Hill .So park up and go for a walk and see what you find. Please note you have to pay for parking , but not expensive.

This strikes me as a very new park as there was nothing much to do or see here. Had to pay for car park, it was a ridiculous price too. If it matures and they improve it over the years it might get a better rating from me.

For a really pleasant walk in a beautiful part of Kent, this park hits the spot. Not in the least strenuous, very child and dog friendly. Well maintained with an ancient old (10th century) castle wall to admire and at £1.50 for a ill days parking, very good value too!

I've just returned from a great walk in the white horse country park. We set out for a bracing walk, following the north downs way. We walked through the ruins of Thurman castle which offers great views. We walked past the ruins and swung a left to the edge of a field and into a beautiful bluebell woodland. There are... More

Although this a favourite place of the BORBUFF , we dont go often due to the expensive car parking fees all year round. We dont want to spend all day there so why we have to pay £1.50 for a 30 minute round walk on a path, even when its winter in the pouring rain,we dont understand. I ts a... More

I'm always amazed how almost no one knows about the ruins of the Norman Castle here! I met someone who walks there dog here every weekend and never knew it was here! Personally I think it's a wonderful view and well worth walking through if you are rambling for the day... but if I stopped off here and paid to... More

Opposite the Kent County Showground White Horse Wood County Park is not to be found on Google Maps. It is a well laid out picturesque little park that suffers from the noise of the adjacent A249. Nice views. A much better alternative is to park at the Hook and Hatchet. The parkland and walkways again not identified on Google provides... More
