This is a review of the theatre as the sound was dreadful. VERY VERY loud . Also this production was by Parkwood utilising the services of their youth theatre director. It was not very good at all. Too much toilet humour and certainly not as good as the last four pantos we have seen there. If the next panto is... More

Very disappointed this year, I just didn't get it. I find that all the passing wind very rude for my child. I won't be going to a panto again and will go to the cinema instead.

Ive just read some reviews of this theater as a venue- but the reviewers have actually reviewd the shows they have seen, rather thn the venue. Its a Victorain building like many of the 'old time' music halls and ive been going there for nearly 30 years for one type of show or another- Anything from the yearly pantos, to... More

Been to this theatre for many enjoyable panto's, but this year was a dissapointment. To loud, to RUDE and the first half was very disorganised.

This must be the worst pantomime I’ve ever been to in a long time. I took my wife, son and daughter in-law and their little girl to see Peter Pan. We accept it’s not the best of subjects for a pantomime but this version was very poor. The Hazlitt theatre is an awful place to see anything. The seats are... More

Went to see a drumming group. For unexplained reasons we were met by a man in the street who went us to the closed front door where our repaid tickets were handed out by a lady on the steps. We were then sent down a path down the side of the theatre and directed in through very much a side... More

Have been a few time to see numerous shows, the most recent being the Bon Jovi Experience, was great everyone was up singing and dancing. Theres plenty of leg room especially on isle G. The toilets aren't too bad, the bar is reasonably priced and the staff are very nice. Got very hot in the theatre room itself, being pregnant... More

A small local theatre in the middle of the centre of Maidstone. Not sure of capacity, probably in the region of 500 max. No separate parking but street parking/car parks available nearby. The theatre is up stairs but there is a small lift. Comfortable seats with good leg room. Small bar area. Helpful, friendly staff. Saw "The Manfreds" (who were... More

My mum and I went to the Hazlitt to see The Vicar Of Dibley at the end of July and had a great time. The seats were a little difficult for me to sit in as I have quite long legs so if you are tall, try to get an aisle seat or the front row in one of the... More
