The Hazlitt has cleaned house, and as a result its now a worth while place to visit. We saw Alan Carr last week and have just stopped laughing. Hazlitt has a bright feel to it and the staff were helpfull and eager to assist. The toilets were clean and fresh. The bar area was relaxed and service was prompt. Comftable... More

This place now shows its age in its visuals, but its the acts that perform here that make a difference. If an act is performing here that you want to see, it is a nice intimate venue to see them close up.

We've been regulars at the Hazlitt for years and love the old style theatre as it's not very big and quite intimate. We often attend to see live band and it takes me back to those 70's gigs! New decoration in the bar and stairway looks very smart.

Visited the Hazlitt Theatre last night and was surprised by how the new company that runs the venue (Parkwood Theatres) had updated the place since my last visit. There is a NEW booking office at the main entrance. The staircase to the foyer and bar area has been painted and brightened up. The bar area is totally different with new... More

I love the Hazlitt Panto, very funny, quite rude, proper old fashioned theatre, not too slick. Had a really great night with children from 6 to 14 and a couple of OAP's. Will be back next year

Had a great evening watching Dick Whittington, with lots of humour for kids and adults (and the cast - they were in hysterics too), all the panto essentials, lots of audience participation and great signing voices from a fair number of the cast really carrying off the musical numbers. If you can get a ticket, go for it
