As well as the Exchange Studio, I asked for the 4th Wall which is another room off the studio that was going to be used for an indoor bouncy castle. Everything was booked and... More

It's not the greatest venue by any stretch of the imagination and when you consider this is the county town of Kent it's pretty poor. Local am dram would fit in ok but you can soon see why it's only C list acts that appear here. The whole layout looks very 1950s inside but I guess it's OK for the... More

Everything was great except the sound system which made hearing the words of the songs difficult. i sat in row N and have seen this show in many locations, so know how good MHT normally is. I'm also in to high end hifi and appreciate good quality mid-range sound which is where vocal sound is centred- i didn't expect hifi... More

We went to see the show 'Nashville Nights and Dixie Days' (a Neil Sands Production) at the Hazlitt Theatre on Saturday 20 September. We were very keen to see this show as we have seen many Neil Sands Productions previously, so were aware of what absolutely fantastic shows he produces. This was our first visit to this lovely little traditional... More

We are lucky to have a theatre like the Hazlitt in the centre of Maidstone. It puts on a wide variety of performances throughout the year at a fraction of the cost of travelling to the West End. It has a friendly welcoming atmosphere and the staff are excellent. I have to use the lift to get up to the... More

The Hazlitt has cleaned house, and as a result its now a worth while place to visit. We saw Alan Carr last week and have just stopped laughing. Hazlitt has a bright feel to it and the staff were helpfull and eager to assist. The toilets were clean and fresh. The bar area was relaxed and service was prompt. Comftable... More

This place now shows its age in its visuals, but its the acts that perform here that make a difference. If an act is performing here that you want to see, it is a nice intimate venue to see them close up.
