Delightful little museum normally however We came for the "brick city" exhibition and felt it was a let down for the price we had paid ...there was a small quiz looking for various Lego characters. Kids sat playing with a big box of Lego mainly ...not really worth £10 Surprised to see no one was double checking tickets for the... More

The fact the Museum is free and in such a great location is amazing. The history and information within the museum is outstanding. I was a little dissapointed about the fee for the lego exhibition as it wasn't as good as expected. The museum as a whole is great with lots of different themes and interesting artefacts. I really recommend... More

been here a couple of times, there is a variety of relatively interesting exhibitions. The highlight for me is Maidstone Seal, past time medical exhibition is a bit off putting, but the clothes though the ages is good fun. Came here for BrikCity Lego exhibition and at an entry fee of £4 is was VERY DISAPPOINTED, seen better and more... More

Visited with 2 young grandchildren as we had seen that a Lego exhibition was on until September. No charge for main museum but £10 for family ticket for Lego. Some large Lego constructions including a very big replica of St Pancras station. Active Lego area where visitors could have a go. Children a bit young to appreciate the museum itsel... More

I have been here a few times in the past with both of my boys and we decided to visit today as they had a travelling Lego exhibition which cost the three of us £8 to visit. That exhibition was great but the visit just served to remind me that this is a gem. It has a diverse collection, military,... More

Have visited this Museum a few times and always been pleasantly pleased. It's got a variety sections, including wildlife, Egypt, dinosaurs and West Kent Regiment to see and learn about and is a great few hours to keep little ones amused, especially on rainy days. Our main reason for this visit was the 'Brick City' exhibition, which has a chargeable... More

for a local museum Maidstone punches above it's weight, the building itself is fascinating and the Japanese collection is rightly famous. the iguanadon skeleton is a disappointment but the variety of exhibits in general ensures there is something for all.

Took two children to see this ages 7 and 3 the museum was free to look aroun and to be honest the kids were not interested at all. We then went into the exhibition which cost £10 for a family of four which for what we saw I felt was a little excessive. The show cases were good and the... More

This really is a gem of a museum! Tucked away behind Fremlin Walk, it is easily missed - which is a great shame because it is an absolutely fabulous place to visit. We are regulars here and today we visited the Lego exhibition, which was great. The rest of the museum is endlessly fascinating and well laid out. The cafe... More
