I visited to cycle around and was impressed with the beauty of the lake. Willen is divided into two separate lakes, one for fun and one for nature. The fun one had some training for waterski going on and the other was nicely set apart and was very pretty.

Willen lake is a great place for a picnic, there is a pathway you can ride a bike around and several children's playgrounds. There's is a miniature railway train to sit on that opens at weekends and during school holidays, it's a lovely little ride through the woods, under a bridge etc cost £1.50 per person. Also there is a... More

Vistied on a bank holiday, but despite all the people, there were very quiet areas around the lake to enjoy a quiet walk, and then other areas where there were lots of things for children to do. The place seems to be well maintained and clean. The seemingly endless footpaths in this area allows one to wander around the area... More

Went for a ride around the lake with a friend. The paths around the lake are great, clean and we'll kept. The area around the pub is busy and hard to bike easily around, but that was expected. It's a great place to bike and enjoy a great view.

There are a number of things to do. Walks you have a varied selection not only around the lakes but also into the city of up or down the green corridor through MK. The south Lake takes around an hour and twenty minutes to walk around and the north lake about 45 minutes. There is a bird hide on the... More

A lovely lake to walk round with several interesting features including a Buddist monument, a stone circle & bird hides. If you sit on one of the many seats you may get swans for company but beware of the Canada geese. Be careful where you park as many car parks now have charges.

Went out on the lake in an inflatable kayak with family and my daughter and had a great day. The sun was shining, the small train was great fun and the staff were really helpful, checking the boat before we went out. Would highly recommend for a stroll, picnic or just an afternoon out of the house. The exercise activities... More
