This was a really good way of seeing in practice how to go about cold and hot smoking. There was a mix of hands-on work and classroom learning ... followed by a tasting of the various foods smoked during the day. Turan is an accomplished trainer and made the day productive and fun.

The cold smoking day was really excellent, in fact the whole day was a real revelation to everyone who attended. I personally learnt an awful lot and gained confidence to go back home and do cold and hot smoking. This is a great course if you're new to food smoking or have done a bit Turan can really teach you lots. He's very knowledgeable about this subject yet in able to impart his experience very lightly. We covered a lot of ground on our day and whats best managed a great smoked picnic at the end. Excellent.

Turan puts the art into artisan. He is truly passionate about his subject, he shows simple techniques that produce the most wonderful hot and cold smoked food.
