The farm is then yours to walk around freely. Like a little child I got excited at every pen. As it was a week day there was only... More

Visited with two kids (6 and 8 yo). We've been to many similar farms but this one seemed to be the most friendly and organised. Education and fun for kids in a right balance, not overpriced, not dirty. Kids had a lovely and valuable experience there. Thanks

Brilliant day at the farm. Great value for money. Kids loved it but so did the adults. Donkey rides and tractor ride a must! The staff at the couldn't have done more. Amazing! Best farm we have visited so far. Thanks! 😀

Been to Smithills Farm several times now in different seasons. Love how the farm and its stock changes with the seasons but the same care and respect for the animals remains constant. The staff seem to genuinely care that their visitors enjoy their visit. From seeing the lambs and bottle feeding them to the field with the deers and varying... More

Visited the farm 3 days before Christmas with family from 20 months to 71 years. Had a lovely time petting the animals, donkey ride for the youngest, visit to Santa and lunch in the reasonably priced cafe. Staff very friendly, happy to answer questions. Stalls were clean. I've had poor experience at other 'farms' (which cost twice as much) but... More

Earlier in the year...pet's corner (including feeding baby lambs and goats!), tractor rides, cows being milked, donkey rides and a nice and fair priced cafe and great park. This christmas time there were all the usual attractions PLUS christmas... I have visited here several times with my eldest child from being a baby to now 8 yrs old and he never fails to enjoy himself. Good value cafe on site or take a packed lunch and sit at either the picnic tables on offer or on the grass near the park area and watch the donkey rides! Looking forward... More
