Bolton Museum & art Gallery a great day out for the kids, it is not the biggest museum and gallery but lots to see and do. Car parking can be an issue, but plenty of pay and display near bye, the museum and gallery is next door to Bolton Town Hall when you enter the museum there is a fish... More

lots of interesting things. the mummy there is very interesting, with artifacts about it. also an aquarium there :) More

if you are passing, take 10 min to call in & have a look. there is always something going on & I particularly like to open Art exhibition held each November. More

anything you want to know about Bolton and this is the place to go .. the staff will point u in the right direction .. i always have a visit here and come away with Magazines about the History of Bolton .. More

Popped in here one afternoon mainly for the aquarium. It is not going to be like Blue Planet but it full of interesting fish and they obviously care about conservation. Best of all it is free! The museum has been refurbished in the last couple of years and is bright and interesting, lots on the history of towns like Bolton.... More

Bolton Museum has a nice Aquarium, a Library, Egyptology Room, Nature and Dinosaur Room and many more interesting things, you could spend a few hours looking around. It is free admission, but I would quite willingly have paid a small enterance fee. They have "Old Bolton" videos going on, with Farnworth Wakes (fair) and the Whit Sunday Walks, which would... More

Went with my son for a day out, its a small but does have a good Egyption Display. Art work and Enviourment displays ok. More
