The improvements in this area are just lovely, nearly restored to its former glory - love to park at the top and wind my way down the hill around the pond then around behind the Tavern on the Green where there are good walks/cycle paths. Then back up again to finally admire the fountain, gardens and sometimes to watch the... More

Crawley boasts a number of park and lakes - Worth Park located in the area of Poundhill Originally part of Worth House and Estate (the house long gone and replaced by garish 1970's tower block style housing) still offers a nice afternoon stroll around the lakes and gardens Ornate fountain fully refitted and working, croquet lawns, balustrade garden walls, well... Some parts of this lottery-funded project look great, but some trees that have been transplanted have not been looked after and will probably not survive. A lot of trees have been removed to 'bring the park back to its original style', including several magnificent yew trees - this should have been done gradually, as some areas look very bare, especially... I went there with a friend to catch up and I ha a wonderful relaxing time. Enjoyed a burger and a glass of wine in the pub there and then walked around the lake and the trees until we were tired enough to lay on the ground and feel the sun on or face. So relaxing.....so beautiful!! I did nothing... More

Worth Park has been revamped, with nice walkways, croquet lawns and an unfinished fountain. It is very much Crawley that man-made gardens lead up to not a stately home but a block of flats - though a block which has a bit of elegance. The park links up with another green area by the Tavern on the Green and there... More

We did this one evening and just wandered around the grounds. was a nice way to cap off a warm evening walk and just happened to be passing by here and stopped for a look. Will go through it next time around if time permits.

Worth Park Gardens is a 20-acre oasis on the eastern side of Crawley. There are nice formal gardens and walks and a croquet club. Elements of the gardens are of national significance such as the structures made of Pulhamite, named after James Pulham, the famous 19th century landscape gardener. This place is well worth a visit following the substantial investment... More

Worth park is not to be visited from far places, it's nice if you live close by. There's a decent play area, football, tennis court, some green and a pond with birds & ducks across the street.

After reading the other reviews on here we took a trip to worth park gardens with my family. And frankly it was a total waste of time. I'm not sure where the other reviewers have been but it can't be here. There's a tennis court and some construction work going on. Other than that nothing to see....
