Did not expect to find this gem in the town. Great nature centre, superb lakes and good restaurant. A good way to let the kids let off steam

Walked around Tilgate park on a freezing cold day while staying in Crawley visiting family. We used to live in Tilgate but moved away almost 25 yrs ago so really noticed a lot of changes. A lot of trees have been cleared along the pathways close to the big lake and there is a large car park we hadn't seen... More

There are several restaurants in this park as well as a cinema which has a lot of screens. Parking is ample though can get full on very busy times. If so then head for the multi story part.

This is such a beautiful park which the council have improved and developed over decades. It's got great dog walking, loads for the kids to do, a good chain type restaurant, but it is good burger and ribs type food to match the cowboy theme. Really well worth a visit, you could easily fill a very nice day with the... More

Very good social place for walks and enjoyment of the Park. Parking charges are restrictive as indeed you are paying for each step you take which is so negative.

I am fortunate enough to only live a couple of minutes walk from tilgate park. There is plenty to do. There is a good restaurant/pub, play park for the kids, nature preserve full of animals and wildlife, a golf course, fishing lakes, and even a go ape rope bridge adventure for thrill seekers. Or you can just walk round the... More

Ideal place for the summer picnics. Zoo now charges but worth a visit. Great walk around the lake. Smith & western only choice of refreshments or of course the ice cream can. Parking reasonably priced.

The park keepers here must work exceedingly hard because it's always well presented and a joy to visit any time of the year. The walks are interesting and there is plenty to see. There's a play area for the kids and a bar/ restaurant for the adults. It gets busy in the summer and there's a pay and display car... More
