Took our grandson here for the day. Hadn't been here for quite a while. We were very surprised at how much there was to do. Go Ape for older children/Adults, play areas, nice walks and the mini zoo with all sorts of animals for all ages. Cheap day out for all the family.

Visited here on a sunny Saturday. Expected it to be heaving but the park is so big you didn't notice. The farm is £2 an adult under twos are free and it is well worth the money. The cafe is really lovely but the food is expensive so take a picnic. We were there for 4 hours and still have... More

Excellent place for all and everyone to enjoy themselves. Obviously an outdoor environment and a requirement for hot sunny weather to make the most of it especially with the lake nearby.

When you have the weather on your side this is a beautiful place to visit, with walks around the various flower gardens and three tree lined lakes which you can fish on, also rowing boats at certain times of the year, A nature centre which is admission by donation, go ape for adults and children, a pub (Smith and Western)... Apart from the small zoo and the walled garden they have a monkey experience (claims a tree and complete a course above the ground also a zip line to finish the first course, this attractions is named GO APE). A little overpriced (£17) but worth it.

Tilgate park is situated just on the outskirts of Crawley, next to Tilgate Forest. It has pleasant walks around the lake and has a memorial garden to sit and take in your thoughts. For the children their is a small animal sanctuary which they will enjoy whilst you sit and relax with a coffee from the cafe.

Brilliant day out. Lots of new things inside that nature centre, had a lovely walk in the park, played on the swings etc and enjoyed a row around the lake. Thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend to anyone.

My husband and I came here on a Friday we were lucky that it was so quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to go round go ape on our own which was great and even had the advantage of doing the last part again because it was quiet. It's quite scary at first but the... More
