Fun in the park

Great fun for my grandchildren who love it here. We go on average 6 times a month. There is an animal sanctuary and it is lovely to see all the new born animals throughout the year

We've been before but the Nature Area has vastly improved, the recent European area and the animals are brilliant. We had been some years before and it has always looked a little tired but it really did look good today. There were a few downsides, the cafe was closed at 3.30pm so no afternoon tea for us, indeed I heard... More

We were so impressed with Tilgate. There was so much to do - from their lovely farm/zoo (which is quite big) to the play area and the acres of free space we had more than enough to keep us occupied. Our three year old loved every minute and we'll be going back again soon.

Hidden gem that I stumbled across. Lovely park with some pretty views. Only been during the autumn and winter months but I imagine it's the place everyone goes to chill in the summer. Smith and Western next door, Tilgate nature park and Tigate golf course. Something for all ages.

Fantastic place. Huge park, playground and nice walk around the lake. Then there's the nature center, with farm animals and animals such as Deer, Otters and Alpacas. Boxes for donations at the entrance - we always pay a few pounds each - it's amazing value. The cafe is generally good value - does sandwiches, jacket potatoes and hot meals. Our... More

This is a lovely park with the little farm in it. Great to go add a family or couples. The smith and western there is great. Have been going for years and will continue to do so. Recommended!

I have a wide age range with my children, and they all enjoy the animals and the fantastic park. Great just for a family stroll, or a full day out. Best to go on a sunny day, as the cafe had limited seating and we have been left walking out before now. Gift shop is very cute too :) animals... More

This park, especially, Its free to amble around at your hearts content. The flora and fauna are spectacular in the spring, not to say the summer is not so good, it is! There are plenty of amenities, Smith and Western have a full American style restaurant there, then there is the small animal centre (a small fee is charged, it... More

Crawley can be proud (and you don't hear that often)! Tilgate is a great place to stroll, spot plants, mooch the walled garden, jog and enjoy animals. Excellent value as the animals are only £2 for adults and £1 for children and parking is £1 an hour. £2 to see meerkats and otters and snakes and lots lots more! I... More
