I love tilgate park, I think it's so beautiful esp the walk around the lake... And there are so many surrounding forests to explore and if that isn't enough there are some farm animals, playground, smith and westerns and go ape all in one fan place for adults and children to relax or have fun!!

This is quite a large, green space with a lake in the middle. I feel like every time my partner and myself go down there for a walk if we take a different direction we can end up on a completely different walk and discover totally different things. I'm sure some of this has to do with us being new... More

Looking for something cheap and fun to do with my younger cousins, lovely walks, play areas and great selection of insects and animals for them to see. They enjoyed themselves a lot and keep asking when we can go back.

As a resident of Crawley for the past 30 years this lovely park remains an oasis of calm and beauty. Spectacular trees and lovely gardens, kids zoo, lakes, woodland walks, walled garden, maze, cafe, restaurant, play areas etc this is a place for all and its free. The slopes facing the lake were sprinkled with families picnicking. Well apart from... More

The park, woods and nature centre are nice. It's good for getting lost in the woods and looking at the animals. The pond is nice too. The craft huts are interesting to investigate. The cafe is awful. They threw my meal over me and had to get me another, which they threw over me again but I opted to just... More

I've been to many parks and gardens and I must say it's pleasant not having to pay to enter (except the farm). The park have very reasonable car-parking rates and you also have access to Tilgate forest via a bridge over the M23. Tilgate has many photo opportunities, so you'll need to spend a good whole day there.

Back to nature place to visit with our without kids, within walking distance of K2 centre. Lovely trees, walks, lake etc. People-gaze the Go-Ape adventurers! There's a great eating place tucked away in there - the ploughman's platter is particularly tasty and good-value.
