A pleasant day out with grandchildren plenty for them to do only drawback was onsite pub for lunch, A very young staff does not put out the monky nuts or tortilers whitch is a trade mark for this chain of pub [ smith & western ] there excuse was it makes to much mess for them to clean up Time... More

It really is a lovely day out for the whole family, the gardens in spring are an artists dream, picnic areas, play grounds for the children and very busy smith and Western restaurant You do have to pay to park your car.

The park is beautiful ...the animals are free at the moment and we discovered a lovely cafe in the walled garden ..what a gem of a find with so much homemade food and fantastic friendly staff , we were greeted by a really chirpy guy who welcomed us immediately ....so much homemade food homemade scotch eggs some of the best... More

Love tilgate park, has loads to do for the children, go ape , fishing, small nature reserve. coffee place and restaurant and toilets.

Visited here last summer. It has great play areas and lots of space for picnics. We also ate at a cowboy restaurant fir lunch. You can have a great free day out with the kids here.

This is a lovely park in the Crawley area. Has lots going on and is always worth a visit either just for a walk or to visit the facilities or activities.

Great day out and lots to do. Only down side is the animals use to be free now have to pay for them however it is cheap to do so it's worth it. Lovely ponds and gardens to visit big park. Loads to do there don't be off by the fact you have to drive thur an estate first as... More

renovate, beautiful. good for jogging, picnics, easy to find from the main road... has lots of sitting area, elevated areas for romantic views

Did not expect to find this gem in the town. Great nature centre, superb lakes and good restaurant. A good way to let the kids let off steam

Walked around Tilgate park on a freezing cold day while staying in Crawley visiting family. We used to live in Tilgate but moved away almost 25 yrs ago so really noticed a lot of changes. A lot of trees have been cleared along the pathways close to the big lake and there is a large car park we hadn't seen... More
