This is a lovely day out to tilgate especially when the sun is shining. Great place to take the kids. They have insects/creatures pigs cows goats all sorts for everyone to enjoy. Lovely for dog walking too. Lots of trees to climb and a Great Lake, play park, ice cream van, restaurants and cafe with a great little maze for... More

Back to nature place to visit with our without kids, within walking distance of K2 centre. Lovely trees, walks, lake etc. People-gaze the Go-Ape adventurers! There's a great eating place tucked away in there - the ploughman's platter is particularly tasty and good-value.

I live locally and go here fairly often with my toddler. The farm is fantastic for the price (costs me and her £3) which is incredibly good value for money. They have a good selection of animals and the farm is laid out well to seem bigger than it actually is. The tea room is fantastic, food is lovely and... More

We walked to the park - the parking is very expensive. The lake is beautiful and we sat and had a picnic while we watched people going out on little boats. Very relaxing! Well, it was until I realised I was sitting in dog poo. Please people - pick it up!! The walled gardens and café are lovely - we... More

I visit this park weekly. It's beautiful and very family friends. However it is massively let down by the lack of dog poo bins. When I collect my dogs mess I have to carry it around with me for a great deal of time. For me, whilst not fun or convenient it is ok. But it appears for others not... More

Lovely park plentiful paths, animal area and brilliant for children (except the cyclists who seem to think the whole place is a velodrome and cycle wherever they like) - but why as a local Council tax payer do I also need to pay to park - double whammy?

So much open space, plenty of level paths, our son uses a walking frame so it was perfect. Go ape has been added, big kids playground. Nice cafe in the walled garden, with good food and not too expensive. A very nice place to go

I have eaten at the smith and westons restaurant and the vans and the food truck at the park. I love smith and westons and I recommend it to all travellers.

I don't actually live that near to tilgate park but always take the drive there. The farm that's one site is excellent and great for photo opps against the back drop of the lake. Then the gardens and maze equally amazing to view, just had a visit to the newly opened go/ape at the park. It was totally amazing hard... More
