Well laid garden, beautiful park, various children's rides, slides etc. and excellent lake with pleasure boat rides. It also has a lovely working farm and fishing facilities. Great place with lovely environment for long walks. Eating facilities of assorted variety caters for all tastes

Such a lot to do at Tilgate lots of space. Go Ape a great experience a pity it is allowed to get so crowded on the aerial walkway more staff needed on the ground to patrol so they can supervise hold ups

This is a great place and lovely location. Whether you wish to have a walk, ride a bike, picnic or just relax this place is perfect for all. There is also Go Ape for the kids and adults. Boats on the lake to hire. Coffer shop, Smith And Western bar/restaurant. Little boutique shops and nature part. So much to do... More

We lived in the area for years this has always been the default sunny afternoon out with the park to walk in, the lake and the zoo it is the perfect place to spend some time with the family and aside from parking (which looking at other reviews has risen recently) can cost nothing. But dont be tight put some... More

I live in Crawley and have spent most of my life visiting Tilgate Park. I am a keen mountain-biker and Tilgate is a superb place for cycling. There are loads of paths and tracks going all around the park and deep into the forest. The facilities here are great too. The Nature centre is great for kids,Go Ape is a... More

Probably the best thing about Crawley. Hidden away, lovely place to walk and take dogs for a walk/swim. Also has a Smith and Western which was rather delightful. Great for picnics and there is also a Go Ape and adventure playground for kids. Worth spending a few hours there for the £3 parking fee.

We came here to visit 'Go Ape' and didn't realise there was a lovely park here too, otherwise we would have spent the whole day here. Go Ape was great fun, although at about £80 for 1 adult and 2 girls it was overpriced...we could've gone to Chessington or Thorpe Park all day for this price. Also too many people... More
