Lovely park which dog loved. For a quarter of circular walk the busy road felt and sounded close but otherwise you would never guess this beautiful spot was in such a busy place. Outside gym smart with arm cycling suited to those in wheelchair maybe other bits would be accessible too. Most routes seemed wheelchair friendly if very steep in... More

If you are looking for a short 2 miles (3.22 km) jog or run in the morning Tilgate Park is ideal - flat circular course around lake, gravel path provides adequate grip in all weather conditions Facilities and toilets on site Highly recommended Enjoy :-)

It's a nice place for a walk around for a little while with the kids, on a Sunday afternoon! And it's nice place, however I have to say it's best when it's sunny! Not very good when it's raining...

We went to Tilgate as a big family group. We took our own picnic and games. The area is so big that we found it so easy to play our games and run around. Tilgate park is so beautiful, with the lakes and trees and the parks available for children of all ages. We had a lovely day out and... More

We visited this park last week... Tucked away in busy Crawley! Very lucky people who live so close. Great facilities! Busy park but it is big enough to cope with all the people! Very clean and tidy with great access for all people. Tip: head straight for the "overflow car park" as this isn't very busy at all, whereas the... More

I visited this park and, more particularly the Nature Centre, with some friends who have children at the weekend. Amazingly the Nature Centre is just £2 for adults to get in. Yes £2! Once in it is clear that the centre is well looked after and the animals pretty well cared for. OK it's not London Zoo...but for £2 what... More

This is the second time I have reviewed Tilgate Park, purely because we love it so much. I truly can’t understand the few negative reviews about the Nature Park and the few complaints of cost (£2 adults and £1 children) lack of animals, and empty pens. I actually wondered if those reviewers were visiting the same park as me!! Having... More

The only real attraction to tailgate park is its small farm at the rear of the park which is truly beautiful and it hasn't got very much to offer in terms of quantity not in quality really, HOWEVER! It is a genuinely beautiful little place where you can have interaction with the animals in the enclosure and can even touch... More

We had a family day out at Tilgate Park. The park is very large. It has at least two lakes, along with large grassy areas, woods and a large picnic area. There are sizeable car parks, and the charge was £5 for the day (alternatively a pound an hour up to 4 hours). There is a very good playground, which... More

Great place for a family day out. Plenty of things to do for all agers. Parking a bit limited and maybe just a bit expensive.
