Been here so many times, the extension is great but why still so many empty shops. Even a lot of the shops that are open are empty, do they really make a living, drop the prices and you may get more. Not the same since Harry Ramsdens left, miss the fish and chips. Great play area, great new hubby seating... More

I visited the designer outlet after travelling to Swindon for my job.. Wish I hadn't bothered !! Shops were ok but I purchased nothing. Week later get 2 tickets from Swindon Council for driving in a bus lane. Poor signage and the only obvious route into the carpark meant 2 x £60 fines. Feel sorry for the outlet as I... More

I don't really want to tell anyone about the Designer Village in Swindon, as it's my little secret. But as you asked nicely, here you go. It has many brands you will easily recognise and love. It's located in the old railway works and has been stylishly updated but you'll note is still in keeping with the original historical features... More

Best shopping in Swindon. Loads of shops and good restaurants. Right next to Steam museum if you have time! Crèche for young kids or hire a push along toy car. Outdoor play area for all ages too, which has partial coverage even if raining. Parking is cheap, and plentiful. Sundays outside main entrance is local Farmers market which has some... More

This has greatly improved after a recent extension and more restaurants and shops added. Greatly priced parking and a lovely indoor shopping experience.

You can also hire disabled buggies for free if you are a blue badge holder. My sister hired one and it goes very fast. The outlet centre is great now that the extension is fully open. The choice of shops is really good and it's a really nice afternoon out.

Great improvements carried out to make this a really good shopping visit. Plenty of good shops and food or just stop for a coffee. A play area for the children and a crèche for the younger ones. Also a train to take you through the outlet.

All been said really, recently extended and great place for the kids with a ride- on train. STEAM museum & National Trust next door so easy to make a great day out. The outlet itself has kept some of the original machinery and the WW1 memorials are quite poignant. Farmer's Market on a Sunday. Weekdays best to visit as can... More

The designer outlet has undergone a significant extension plan introducing even more attractive outlets. The railway 'workshop style' units add to the atmosphere and the mix of shopping experience is really good. You should be able to find anything at the Outlet and parking is free if you spend over £100. But that is very easy in a day to... More
