I recommend to start the visit of the park at the entrance of the park or from Stanton House Hotel. Well paved lanes guide the traveler e.g. around the lake or one can search for the covered Roman villa. At the entrance a small museum gives some information about the situation of the park. When walking around the lake, take... More

We love visits to Stanton Park. We usually go as a big family group and take dogs and bicycles too. A cycle through the woods with the dogs and a game of rounders sets us up perfectly for a picnic. A brilliant day out even in winter!

Stanton Park is a well kept place - lovely walks along well kept paths, plenty of wildlife to view, very popular for dog owners. A pleasant place to get some fresh air.

Great for Cross Country runners, so many diffeent routes, lots to see, be warned though- when i say good for cross country runners i mean its brilliant for them but not much use for any other type of runner!!! Great rural setting its hard to believe its only 15 mins from Swindon centre!! Ill be back for more training soon!... More

Great place for a Stroll . Great views across the lake. Lots of different paths and woodland to explore. Swings i pressume have been attached by the public to trees dotted around the place. Great place to fish too ;)

Lovely park and lake for dog walking. There is no cafe or facilities but it's an enjoyable walk. When I visited there appeared to be something going on for children in the building there, a nature display/talk possibly?

a lovely place to visit, whether it's just for a quiet walk or taking the dog out for a run. nice tip is to have a cream tea half way in the Stanton house hotel, which is dog friendly on a summers day. a good parking area plus an interactive part for children as well as an open bee hive... More

Area of peace and tranquil A nice place to take a nice walk and chill out, not generally busy, so always a bonus to be outdoors without having to keep moving out of every ones way, After waliking around stanton there is Stanton House Hotel which is open to the Public to pay a visit and but a drink.
