Just up the road from us but hidden away is this delightful little lake. No park which would benefit so more for strolls and walking dogs. Only part is path so not suitable for bikes and scooters for kids. You doo need willies and the woodland has a thick canopy so no light getting through to dry it. Saying that,... More

Stanton park is a lake with a track around it , nice to have a walk or ride on a bicycle around the area . Part of the lake is in a wooded area which can be a bit muddy after a rainy day. There are plenty of ducks to feed . The car park is quite large and there... More

A beautiful spot for a walk in a country park devoid of playground equipment and fast food! (all fine in the right context!) Multiple habitats including grassland, woodland and a lake occupied by swans and various ducks. Birdsong accompanies you as you walk on the pathways (or venture off them to explore!) which enable you to explore this lovely space.... More

I went on a school activity afternoon which was very well run and held the children's interest throughout. Also a great place for dog walkers, families with young children - in fact, everyone. Well sign-posted routes.

Lovely walk around the lake, also plenty of woodland walks, I take the dog at least once a week. No cafe on site but Stanton Hotel next door with direct access from the park. Very large car park. Definately worth a visit.

Have been several times over the last few months. It's a quiet and pleasant place to walk. Plenty of car parking. Very muddy in places. Not much there though.

Just a short distance on the outskirts of Swindon, Stanton park has a range of pleasant walks, a lake, apothecary/herb garden and a small childrens visitor centre. A nice place to spend an afternoon.

Lovely walks through woodlands and a lake, great for dog walkers or ramblers. If you fancy a drink or cream tea Stanton House is near by.

Stanton has a lot to offer brilliant dog walks plenty to see , great scenery feeling tired pop in and have a coffee at Stanton house dogs need to be on. Lead for this otherwise they can roam free on numerous walks. Large river good fishing permit required feed the ducks. Love this place.

Peaceful-Quiet and relaxing is the best way to describe Stanton park, a nice place to walk or sit by the lake, mature woodlands to explore with good paths many suitable for wheelchairs.
