The house is a little gem. There is also a walled garden. « less

Lovely family day out. We went with 7 adults and 6 children. It was amazing, lots to do here and explore, my only tiny gripe, facilites are lacking but i suppose that could come. Play area, is heaving and stressful to spend time here but otherwise plenty to do in other places

We always visit Lydiard to have fun day out. Beautiful grounds and garden, stunning house and great park for the kids. Ice cream parlour is lovely, but gets very cramped very quickly. Cafe is great and reasonably priced too. We love it.

Recently visited. Lovely house and grounds well looked after! A great atmosphere and a lovely cafe and ice cream shop (although quite expensive) can be a nice day out with a picnic and a bat and ball!

What a little gem of a place. Lovely house to visit and fantastic walled garden. Lovely location and a play area for children. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

I do love going to Lydiard park. Its only a mile away from my house and the place all together is lovely. If you get chance also visit the house, we go at Christmas when they do it all up inside and its brilliant and very interesting! The only issue is the dogs, we never take ours there as there... More

We have just returned from Lydiard Park today which was lovely. They had a free vintage car show and we had a nice picnic. However, as per the previous review, there are far too many loose dogs! My kids were terrified as some of these dogs are big. Dog owners have respect for other people please!....not everyone likes dogs....they say... More

Went with my family while visiting Swindon. This is a very nice park with something for everyone. However my only complaint is the huge amount of loose dogs.Does not make for a relaxing walk when you are approached by loose dogs every few minutes.Very nice walled gardens with a small charge.

Lovely place with huge park and grounds. Looks stunning in all seasons. Parks are aimed at little ones and a larger adventure park for 3yrs +. A large lake by a woodland walk which is not really muddy so suitable in most weathers. 2 fields one for picnics and ball play and another with static bbq's which we have used... More

Beautiful grounds and parkland with lake. Large play area for children and plenty of room for picnics in the sort of weather we were lucky enough to have. Very interesting display of needlework and crafts in the house. We paid extra to go in the walled garden which was well worth seeing and a riot of colour in mid May.... More
