The cinema here is very good as it is small with seats that are large enough for everyone. It gives a homely atmosphere and usually everyone attending is interested enough to stay quiet. They also allow you to buy drinks and take them in which makes a pleasant change. I've also attended a meeting here in the past which was... More

I struggle to get my head around some of the exhibitions but whenever I am in Derby I pop in to see the displays. the cafe food and drinks are good though not cheap and it is a good spot to watch the comings and goings of people. the cinema is also very good.

I love the Quad it's got everything in one building. They also do their best to cater for people with allergies and offer hot beverages with soya milk as a dairy free alternative. the staff are all very friendly and there's always something different to see and food, drink and cinema is all reasonably priced.

If you want to see great independent cinema (not the Hollywood superheroes nonsense for kiddies) in very comfortable surroundings, this is the place. It's an intimate venue where you can enjoy a drink with your film and it's centrally located for good access. It deserves to succeed!

We dropped in on a very wet day in June to get out of the rain with my children . Surprised and pleased with the facilities and activities we found there .

Went to the Kedleston hall quad cinema on Friday to see the outdoor cinema showing of dirty dancing.... My goodness it rained.... But that didn't put any of us off! We stoically carried on eating our (very wet) picnic and the staff rallied around in a friendly manner, chivvying us all on! Came two years ago with my disabled friend... More

Visited Quad yo see a film arrived very early and decided to eat. We ordered 4 Tapas dishes between us, meatballs, patasbravas, olives and chorizo with salad. Food arrived quite quickly delivered to our table NY a pleasant young lady. We really enjoyed what we had and the quantity was plentiful. At £10 for four dishes it was good value.... More

I only ordered a coffee, but the lady manager was so nice. Just chit-chat, but I like that. I asked directions to somewhere. I paid by card and the coffee was tasty.

We visited the QUAD last weekend to watch the screening of AMY. We had pre booked tickets online and collected when we arrived from the reception which was really easy. We were in the box, which is a smaller room, we sat on the back row of seats but I did notice some nice sofa's closer to the front. Too... More

There is always lots to see and do at Quad, with interesting exhibitions and the quality, well programmed and comfortable indie cinema which Derby is so lucky to have. Not to mention all the events and courses. Long may it last. On this occasion I took in some of the works by local artist Clay Smith, enjoyed a delicious banana milkshake... More
