Indoor walls are always difficult because they can be very samey and not challenging enough for climber. I think that this wall has a good mix of routes for different abilities. My partner and I are getting back in to climbing and climb at different abilities and it suits us. It's £8 a climb or just under £7 for bloudering... More

You just want to give it a go for the experience; you just want something for the kids by way of a change, even playgroup age. See the little ones climb and rescue the teddies off a 2mtr wall, it just seems so natural to a 3yr old. The under 10's going on 13, swing around the boulder room, just... More

Brilliant 1 hour 45 min session for 5 - 10 year olds x my children aged 6 and 9 had a brilliant time x learnt loads as they are beginners climbed, went on boulders. Both said it was 10 out of 10 staff helpful and friendly. Coffee shop and bar well stocked clean and not too expensive. Best to park... More

It's fair to say The Warehouse has fluctuated somewhat, but I reckon it's currently on the up again.. It did go a looking time without refreshing routes and it does suffer from poor lighting in certain corners, but at the moment it is fairly good. Core staff members keep you smiling and sometimes even allow music to be played! I'm... More

We decided to visit after firstly I emailed and quickly replied and seemed so friendly and helpful. On arrival one quick form and demonstration of knots for safety and others that struggled were given tuition at no additional cost. The staff were all so friendly and helpful throughout. The walls were busy but we did go on a Sunday but... More

Great for kids parties but useless for climbing training. 1. The routes are hardly ever changed. 2. Kids run around, out of control, making a racket, which wouldn't be so bad but there are designated children's areas. 3. Petty rules regarding tying in i.e. bowlines are not allowed. 4. Auto belay devices are not cleared at published times making a... More

We went climbing with 8 year olds. It was great fun. Staff were attentive, professional and very patient with nervous climbers. It's on 4 floors, clearly signposted, and a veriety of activities to choose from. The food is good, and a nice friendly bar (family friendly)

The warehouse has always been good for an indoor climbing venue and has maintained it's UK reputation by getting even better. Great no matter what your age and has a bar for after your climbs to chill (or a few whilst the kids have a go)

I learned to climb recently at The Warehouse - the instructors were friendly, took their job seriously and made sure we all enjoyed the course. Four sessions later I am a competent climber and the world (or at least the walls of the The Warehouse) are my oyster. I climb about once a week now, and whenever I go in,... More

Makes a pleasant change from sitting in a village hall for a few hours, keeps the kids busy and maybe they pick up a new interest. Have been several times, including for a party for one of our children and always come away impressed. They take care of everything for the duration, which is a relief as the staff are... More
