We arrived just in time for the daily 14.30 wine tour (£12.50 if you want to taste four different wines) and enjoyed a very informative talk from our guide Bart. Having done quite a few vineyard tours in the past this was the first time we had walked around with our glasses and enjoyed the wines on route. The tour... More

We have recently stayed at Three Choirs Vineyard, we took the wine tour that was very informative and we got to taste some lovely english wines. The rooms are lovely and the views fantastic. There was a lovely bottle of wine on ice waiting in the room. We had a little walk around the vineyard, this is well laid out... More

Planned a trip to the vineyards to try out English wines. All the literature points toward the tour with four wine samples for £12.50 and on arrival we were told about this....but this place also offers a five sample taster menu from their wine list for £2.50 and there are normally 2 other wines to sample set up in the... Having drank a lot of wine in the course of a lifetime, this appealed. I would recommend to white wine lovers though, as Three Choirs only produce one red - more if there is a particularly good year. The tasting experience gave us the opportunity to taste single grape variety's and blended, alongside a complimentary bottle of white in our... More

Our visit was essentially a site inspection prior to bringing our wine appreciation group here in the spring. Having worked in the wine industry we have visited hundreds of vineyards, wineries and cellar door options in established and emerging wine regions around the world. This one really deserves a place at the table with the best! The picturesque setting, the... More

We bought via Travelzoo a guided tour, wine tasting and overnight stay which included a bottle of wine in our room. The tour and wine tasting is interesting and informative. The rooms are beautifully situated with panoramic views over the vines and on a sunny day in January we sat out on the small patio enjoying our chilled wine watching a fantastic sunset.The... We visited the Three Choirs for a wine tasting and an overnight stay and we enjoyed both very much. The white wine is lovely - the fizz is excellent. We didn't enjoy the red wine as much but that was as expected. The rooms are really well positioned with excellent views over the vines. We stayed during the last weekend... More

Arrived early at the vineyard thinking we could have a light lunch and a relax with a magazine , and a stroll around the shop before wine tasting . We were booked into dinner later that evening so a sandwich would have been great . However we got told we could sit in reception look around the shop but when... More

Our kids got us a tour and lunch here for Christmas last and we went recently. Very good lunch and a great bottle of wine. You can upgrade on the standard wine and, as the mark up is low from their retail prices (which are fairly high), it's worth going for their top offerings. We went for the 2011 Bacchus... More

This is the second largest vineyard in England and produces some excellent white wines. In 2014 the Wine Society, who take care to supply quality wines had cases devoted to Three Choirs wine. The vineyard covers a relatively small area and visits are not that dramatic. Stainless steel tanks are all very similar and if you have seen them before... More
