Lovely girls trip! Bob showed us round and gave detailed advice about the order to shower, steam and plunge, relax, drink water and generally make the most of our time. Service was excellent from start to finish. Not the cheapest activity but worth every penny. Next time I'll take a book to relax with. Magazines are provided though. Stunning decor... More

Despite the name, the only thing resembling a bath here is an icy cold plunge pool! The experience of this place is centered around a series of hammams of varying temperatures. They give you plenty of towels and instruction about how long to stay in each and how often to come out and shower off and/or jump in the plunge... More

even though it is much smaller than when it was first built you get a feeling for the grandeur of Victorian England. We had a massage in the spa which was first class. A great aspect of the baths is the ladies only period. Staff great and all seem to have been educated on the spa's history. Well worth the... More

I have been several times and took a friend of mine who was over from Bermuda when we had some time to kill. Tip: don't treat it as a flying visit; set aside several hours & take a book and/or some music and prepare to set up camp to properly relax over several hours. + service was very good &... More

When ever I feel stressed or very cold in the winter I visit the baths and book a massage. To take advantage of the 3 hour session get there for the start and stay the whole session. Have any treatments after the baths to make the most of your time, you can have a light lunch to extend your day.... More

Visited this attraction with a mixed group on a very rainy Saturday!! A great experience in such a wonderful building. Only recently refurbished after being closed for some time. The baths are a real delight - gorgeous decor lovingly restored with original tile flooring. Your are taken through various heated areas ranging from a frigitarium(allegedly cool) to the very hot... Went to the Turkish baths in Harrogate town and they are really lovely inside with all the colourful tiles etc. There is a ladies afternoon and they also have mixed sessions. There are 3 levels of sauna from 40 degrees right up to 70 degrees (I could feel my ears burning at the hottest level). There is also a steam... More

I was greeted at reception by the lovely Michelle where she introduced me to Bob who gave me a guided tour of the baths and a short interesting history about the spa. I was then shown to the well kept seated changing area then shown the locker area to leave my clothes. The decor of the baths and the mosaic... More

Went with friends, the staff were very good they explained how to use the spa and showed us around when we were ready. I think perhaps there were a few too many people there as sometimes you could not get a seat, some people were extremely inconsiderate lying down instead of sitting meaning there was little room at times. The... More
