Not only do they have the nerve to charge a premium price but they also think they deserve to. At least have the basic intelligence to design the seating incline so that the back of the chair in front doesn't obscure your view! That is just basic. It may well not have happened with the original design, however, since the introduction... More

I couldn't believe how expensive this was compared to other cinemas. For the price, I expected it to be better, but it felt like I was in a time warp back to the 80's, but sitting in a 70's cinema that needed repairs. The seats aren't tiered so anyone sitting behind a tall person struggles to see (as I did).... More

This cinema is dirty and dingy, run by staff who know nothing and obviously do not want to be there or desire your custom. The seats and floors are filthy. Who wants to sit on any of them let alone pay extra for the squalor that is "premier" seating?? Disgraceful. Needs complete overhaul or condemning.

Just took my grandson to see "Battle of the Five Armies". I haven't been to this cinema for years, and it will be many years before I return. We arrived 20 minutes early, obtained our pre paid tickets from the machine and went to buy popcorn and snacks from the third cash till at the end of the counter. What... More

At £10.75 a ticket and a tiny screen to watch a visually striking movie like the Hobbit on is just a total disappointment. If it was a cheap ticket and I walked into the small screen I would have understood why it is cheap but I just feel ripped off now. It's not only expensive, it is the most expensive tickets I... This cinema has been run into the ground over the years. They started out with 3 screens and then in the late 80s added screen 4 and then, for some weird reason (greed??) decided to hack the large screen one into two screens making them poky and claustrophobic. The only improvements that have ever been made are the now expanded... More

Being American, EVERYTHING in England (especially Harrogate) is so expensive! The movies are no exception. The admission price alone at the Odeon is crazy. My advice- take your own sweets, drinks, etc so that you don't put yourself in the poorhouse! The odeon really needs to be refurbished. It's old and smells musty. Most of the theaters are cramped and... More
