Amazing Harrogate got it all ! Heaps of Excellent musicians in a very homy atmosphere. Unforgetable live gigs a go go. Enthusiastic Locals dance on tables and chairs. No one can stop them. They throw watches and pound notes into a tin basket for the band and love it. Nice and friendly people all around. Always had a great time... More

This was great! free to get in. great beers (and not over-priced) and great music. Jed Thomas playing Jimmy Hendrix Voodoo Child with his teeth. Amazing.

As a single woman the thought of going to a club in the evening can be quite an intimidating thought but not in this case. I loved it! The regulars, staff and owner made me feel more than at home and I enjoyed the music, atmosphere and the people. This place is the main reason why I want to return... More

The Blues Bar is a great place with a lovely atmosphere. The music is fantastic and it is enjoyed by people of all ages. It often packed out but this only helps to make it what it is. Sundays are excellent with groups on at 3pm 6pm and 9ish.

Finally made it, wanted to come here for ages, tiny place just like a New Orleans (or as was) blues bar, you are part of the experience. Always got live music on and the atmosphere is brilliant, Friday night to be recommended as a 2 4 1 on rum. Even the missus enjoyed this, usually don't like places this full,... More

Visited the blues cafe bar on a Wednesday night whilst staying in Harrogate on business. I don't drink and soda water was free bar man and women were really friendly and remember what I was drinking. Music was excellent started at 9.30. Think the only thing the place misses for it to be totally authentic is a smoked filled room.

If you love music this is a not to be missed experience ! I live 5 mins from this bar and spend many a Sunday afternoon in awe of the talent. the bar is so small that you feel like your part of the band A truly unique venue .Dont bother going to Betty's for some over priced cucumber sarnies... Great for all ages interested in music. Live entertainment most nights. Only small but has a traditional atmosphere and does good food. Bit like Ronnie Scotts on a small scale

We came across this bar by chance just looking for a drink and something to eat on a Saturday afternoon, what a fantastic place, good beer, nice friendly atmosphere, good music and the sandwich with home cooked chips was one of the best I have had. I would have been happy to stay here all weekend and listen to the... More
