Fantastic day out at Ripley Castle. The guided tour was well worth it even though it took and hour and half! Very knowledgeable guide who made it very interesting. Lovely grounds and gardens, nice shop and good facilities. Well worthy of it's awards. Highly recommended more

Stopping at Ripley Castle was an afterthought. We hadn't been able to get a good idea of the character of the property from web sites and it isn't listed in many American guidebooks.
