After watching "The Dales" featuring Chester and the other gorgeous Llamas and Alpacas what better than to be able to visit Nidderdale Llamas for our daughter Abbey's 11th birthday with 7 of her friends. The girls went out on a trek after learning a great deal about the Llamas and Alpacas habits and personalities and were taught how to handle... More

Susanna and the llamas welcomed used with open arms and gave us a farm experiance to remember! 8 adults/4 couples in our 20s-60s had a blast on the llama farm learning about llamas and alpaca, their personalities, likes and dislikes and taking them for a good half hour walk. With the chance to hug other animals it is a great... More

I LOVE LLAMAS! ...and after my first Nidderdale Llama experience, I knew I had to go back ...only this time upgrading to a half day trek! A fabulous insight into the life and emotions of Llama's, a real eye opener. Suzanne and Charlotte were well informed, considerate and hospitable and obviously love their job. The llamas were great characters and... More

Utterly brilliant. The llamas were really relaxed and happy to plod along (I walked Chester who was a real sweetie) and the staff clearly loved working with them. We were greeted very warmly by llamas and staff alike, and were given a nice cuppa before our journey home. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for adventure, and hope to be... More

If anything is exceptionally good my family calls it a "Lollipop". So, as far as we were concerned this was a Lollipop afternoon. My two younger grandchildren, Max and Zak, were reluctant to go but after our visit they are anticipating a quick return. The old folks who took them thought it was great too!

We visited Nidderdale for an 'on farm experience' on 12 February 2014. We received a very friendly welcome and were made to feel right at home. Thankfully the sun came out when it was time for a walk with Osar and Jack. The llamas (and alpaca!) were all absolute stars. Would recommend a visit to Nidderdale llamas to anyone!

We enjoyed an 'On farm trek' for my birthday back in August. The whole experience was fantastic. Suzanne was very welcoming and extremely knowledgeable regarding her lovely llamas! We trekked with Ted, the daydream llama, who was an absolute sweetheart. We chose to share a llama and this worked very well: we both had plenty of opportunity to walk with... More

We had a fantastic family day out. Suzanne was a wonderful and patient host. All the llamas were well behaved and brilliant around our children. I have to say we visited on Saturday and the children are still talking about their visit. A brilliant, fun and informative day had by all, THANK YOU. See you again I'm sure. Nicola &... More
