I went on a short trek with my 20 year-old daughter and we both thoroughly enjoyed our time at Nidderdale Llamas. The farm is run by Suzanne who is warm, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. It was interesting to hear about the different llama personalities - we had Morgan and Ike who were both lovely. We felt completely safe and were... More

Booked the farm trek for myself and my husband. The ladies were so knowledgable - not just about llamas and alpacas in general, but about each individual llama's quirks and characteristics. We were given Morgan to share, and what a lovely llama he was! He was very gentle with both of us and such a charming charactar - we were... More

My boyfriend surprised me with a llama trek here, the facilities are great and the welfare of the animals is excellent. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgable. Would definitely do again!

We booked a farm trek with the llamas. Didn't really know what to expect but had a great afternoon. Suzanne is very knowledgeable and passionate about the llamas and explained all about them and their different personalities. I took "Noodle" and my partner took "Chester". The farm is set in beautiful countryside and the llamas are great characters and we... More

This must be my 5th visit to visiting Suzanne Benson and her wonderful team. There are 25 of us each year and its one of our best outings. Everyone loves to have a stroke and cuddle with the Lamas and pets and is one of our most popular outings for people living with dementia. I cant fault Suzanne and her... More

I LOVED this!!! Was brought as a birthday present for me and seemed like the most random thing ever but turned out to be the best thing ever! I know totally love lamas! And Gary is just the most amazing Alpaca!! The lady's who run it are really good and they both totally make the experience worthwhile. We went in... More

I was delighted to look at trip advisor and find llama trekking as the #1 visitor attraction near Harrogate as I love llamas. I found out so much I didn't know about these wonderfully curious creatures and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. A fun day out for all ages, Suzanne & co really look after you and not to mention the... More

As our smallest son was too young to do the trek, we decided instead to do the farm experience and were surprised with a memorable morning full of learning and hands-on activities to keep everyone thoroughly entertained. We loved every minute of it and would highly recommend it to any family.

This was such a great experience, I'm a massive animal lover so jumped at the chance to meet some Llamas when I first saw Nidderdale Llama's appear on the top things to do in North Yorkshire. Suzanne and Mary were fabulous host. I was lucky enough to be matched with Gus as my trekking buddy and had the honor of... More
