We visited last week to see Clare Teal and her Festive Fiesta. Great show, wonderful atmosphere, certainly got you in the Christmas Spirit ! The Royal Hall is a wonderful venue- this was our first time there. Recently restored, it is a Victorian jewel. Not too big, lovely ambiance, very pleasant ushers, we were made very welcome. Excellent location for an exhibition. Beautiful theatre, full of character. Plenty of linked halls for large exhibitions.

An amazing place....so beautiful....and believe a man called Samuel Fox was the owner and idea of the magnificent Hall in the 19th Century. It's small enough for a intimate atmosphere yet large enough for a good crowd to enjoy a show. We saw Paul Carrack at the start of his tour and it was a huge success....

Excellent concert in a beautiful theatre with real character. All staff were helpful and friendly. Easy location to find and good views from different parts of the auditorium.

Enjoyed the surroundings and the RAF Band who were celebrating 50 Years of the Red Arrows. Great evening.

A fantastic show in a beautiful theatre. This was the opening night of a UK tour. What a fantastic place to start. I don't know how the acoustics at the Royal Hall rate but this excellent performance by one of the most under-rated musicians and his band sounded superb. The highlight was a glorious version of the classic, 'Living Years'... More

The Royal hall has been decorated then decorated again with gold, a fine old theatre that has had lots of tlc not to mention oodles of money spent on it, we have been a number of times now and I only have a couple of points to make. The stall seats are just too flat so that anyone sat behind... More

We were lucky enough to be given a free tour by one of the volunteers who support the restoration of this"kursall" or cure house which is now a theatre, exhibition hall and conference venue. It is a magnificent building which looks nothing from outside, but don't miss it

First visit to this venue-amazed at the ornate interior-full of character and what a theatre should look like. The building created an atmosphere which was perfect for a live Hollies Concert.
