We have just spent a couple of nights on the camp site at Sacrewell Farm in our caravan. Our son, daughter-in-law and 2 grandchildren were also with us in their tent. It is a good camp site with first class shower and toilet facilities. The views over the surrounding countryside are wonderful. The camp site fees included entrance to the... More

We started visiting last year with our little one, and have since bought an annual pass which I use with him at least every fortnight. We love the farm, even if we sometimes only have an hour to spare as we live so close by in Stamford. Our son loves the tractor rides and now that they have been extended... More

Hi Kate, Thank you so much for your review. It's great to know that your son enjoys his visits to us and it's only going to keep on improving in the future now that the Mill Project has started. You're quite right-we are looking into options for a toilet in the play barn so watch this space! See you soon,... More

We visited the farm at the weekend and were a bit disappointed. It seems to have gone down hill even since last year, there were not many animals about; there was no-one around who knew what was happening with the duck race etc. , the grass needed cutting and there was generally the air of an attraction on the way... Hi Patricia, Thank you for your review. We strive to improve continually and are happy to say that we have more animals here than ever before, including our rare breed British lop pigs. Perhaps they were sheltering inside. You might be aware that we have recently been the successful applicants of a £1.4m Heritage Lottery Fund grant to restore our... More

We visited the farm today with our 2 year old for the open farm day. We arrived early and didn't have too que very long at all. This was a free event today so was expecting ques but many tills were open so we got through quickly. The lady who served us though did seem a bit rushed and when... More

Hello, thank you so much for your review and comments. You'll be pleased to know we are in the process of putting a plan in place to revamp the animal village. It is a shame all of the rabbits were inside but it was such a hot day, they were probably enjoying the shade. They do have open runs so... More

I've been regularly coming to the farm since we had my daughter (now 4). We've always loved it - picturesque location, interesting buildings, up close to the animals, interesting events, nice cakes! But the new indoor play centre has made it even better. Wow the kids love it in there - looking forward to visit when the cafe is open... More

Went with our grandaughter who is 14 months old. She loved the animals, although there wasnt many on the day we visited. It was great to be able to walk round with a buggy and have space to do so. The soft play area was good for all ages and outdoor playground well laid out. They have a cafe but... More

We have been today on a wet half term and all the kids had fun. However there were very few animals to see which was a bit disappointing. The indoor soft play has been re done since I last visited a year or so ago. It's great, but there are no highchairs which makes lunch with toddlers really difficult. I... More

What a great place to visit! Wide range of animals including some stunning Shire horses and peacocks. Friendly staff and good facilities. I know some people have commented that the farm is a bit run down, but it is a farm not a sterile theme park for city folk! The animals are well cared for and the staff very knowledgeable.... More

Very poor farm area - quite a few empty pens and the animal discovery centre and hatchery were shocking - very run down and dirty, and very few animals. However, the soft play barn is excellent - one of the best we have visited. Our toddler enjoyed this much more than the farm. If it wasn't for this I would... More

Hello. Thank you very much for your review. I am pleased you enjoyed the new play barn. We are delighted with it.
