Today wasn't supposed to be to Sacrewell but we thought we would go on the spur of the moment and am intensely glad we did. Excellent signage and a good size car park helped to start with followed by a welcoming, helpful and friendly lady on reception who, as we were waiting behind someone, bought us around to another till... We've been regular visitors for many years but our most recent visit will be our last as the quality of this attraction has dropped like a stone. Very few animals these days. Large areas are now closed off with no reduction in the admission price to reflect this. Cafe nothing short of abysmal, virtually no food available and what is... More

We've been going for years but high prices and not many animals put us off a bit with our growing children. Since the new play barn opened we're back and the children love it, it's so clean, huge and definitely the best in the area. Buuuuttt outsourcing the main cafe and the food still isn't great or healthy! The kiosk... More

We have just spent a couple of nights on the camp site at Sacrewell Farm in our caravan. Our son, daughter-in-law and 2 grandchildren were also with us in their tent. It is a good camp site with first class shower and toilet facilities. The views over the surrounding countryside are wonderful. The camp site fees included entrance to the... More

We started visiting last year with our little one, and have since bought an annual pass which I use with him at least every fortnight. We love the farm, even if we sometimes only have an hour to spare as we live so close by in Stamford. Our son loves the tractor rides and now that they have been extended... More

We visited the farm at the weekend and were a bit disappointed. It seems to have gone down hill even since last year, there were not many animals about; there was no-one around who knew what was happening with the duck race etc. , the grass needed cutting and there was generally the air of an attraction on the way... Hi Patricia, Thank you for your review. We strive to improve continually and are happy to say that we have more animals here than ever before, including our rare breed British lop pigs. Perhaps they were sheltering inside. You might be aware that we have recently been the successful applicants of a £1.4m Heritage Lottery Fund grant to restore our... More

Hello, thank you so much for your review and comments. You'll be pleased to know we are in the process of putting a plan in place to revamp the animal village. It is a shame all of the rabbits were inside but it was such a hot day, they were probably enjoying the shade. They do have open runs so... More

I've been regularly coming to the farm since we had my daughter (now 4). We've always loved it - picturesque location, interesting buildings, up close to the animals, interesting events, nice cakes! But the new indoor play centre has made it even better. Wow the kids love it in there - looking forward to visit when the cafe is open... More

Went with our grandaughter who is 14 months old. She loved the animals, although there wasnt many on the day we visited. It was great to be able to walk round with a buggy and have space to do so. The soft play area was good for all ages and outdoor playground well laid out. They have a cafe but... More
