We did not realise that the specimens would be so mature and were surprised to see such great international species. The dog loved the walk and the empty space. Some of the areas need some repairs as rotten wood and rusty metals distract from the otherwise great memorial. Don't forget to to visit the excellent viewpoint on the hill behind... More

We recently enjoyed a short break to New Ross which has plenty to do and see but I am so glad we visited the JFK Arboretum. It is a beautiful national park and very well landscaped. We enjoyed the visitor centre which had just the right amount of quotes and memorabilia including some of Jackie’s wardrobe before enjoying a beautiful... More

Known locally as simply Kennedy Park this place has fond memories since I have been coming here from early age. The location for Family picnics and summer days out. I have come here in all weathers and it is always an enjoyable day out. I recommend taking the walk to the left of the information centre opposite the car park.... More

We visited JF Kennedy Arboretum on 10th. September. It is a beautiful place with miles of peaceful paths with huge variety of trees and shrubbery. There is a lovely little lake with ducks. I would agree with a previous reviewer re maybe providing electric buggies for less able bodied visitors. Also extra seating would not go amiss. I would be... More

My wife and I visited the Arboretum on the 9th September the good weather helped to show the park at its very best and it is certainly worth a visit. We are both 73 years of age however so our tip to encourage visitors and improve things for the elderly visitor would be as follows. Please consider 1. supplying electric... More

Spent a lovely day in Kennedy Park with two friends and eight children last week. The kids had a great time and loved the playground. We had a lovely picnic before heading for a lovely walk down to the lake. We finished up with a lovely ice cream from the coffee shop. Great way to spend the last day prior... More

Lovely afternoon spent at JFK arboretum walking around the park and finally going to the playground which is fantastic. Would like to eat there but too many wasps thats life.

A bit off the beaten track but well signposted this is a little gem. Beautiful gardens with a 3km approx! circuit, we were glad our two young children brought their bikes. On a nice day an ideal location for a picnic with an excellent playground as well. Cant wait to go back

This is a perfect place for a picnic. The picnic tables are well spread out around a lovely play park, so you can sit and watch the kids letting of steam without them going out of sight. Lovely views from the top of the mountain too across 6 or so counties.

Great walks, great play park, reasonable cafe, clean toilets. You can spend a good couple of hours here with the kids. Worth a visit if a nice day.
