We are regulars on this beautiful beach whether its on a nice summer's day or on a windy day in the middle of winter. It's patrolled by life guards and beach wardens during the summer season and water tested to ensure safe bathing conditions. We wouldnt want to go anywhere else, the kids love it too. Playground, shop, takeaways and... More

Has to be one of the best beaches in the South East . Great to walk on when the tide is out , you can get some amazing photos when the large ships are entering the port . Also a great place to wind surf there is a guy there who does classes a good expierence overall.

Lovely clean sandy beach, safe for children with a lifegaurd on duty during the summer months. Great view of the whole estuary across to Woodstown beach and right out to the Hook Lighthouse. Great for walking the dog or an evening stroll!

I visit this beach regularly and I love it. Great for a long walk. Also it's very safe to swim in when the tide is in fully. Water quality has improved the last 2 years which is brilliant news. One of the few beaches where you can drive on. There's a Sandsculpting festival there every August which is well worth... More

Duncannon Beach is a beautiful beach. We use it regularly and have never had any complaints. Where else can you go to the beach and have the facilities of toilets, lifeguards, shops, bars, food and more within a stones throw and also its great for wheelchair access. It has had some bad reviews below but it is kept very well... More

The local townsfolk of Duncannon need to get their heads together and sort out the problem of pollution and general cleanliness on Duncannon Beach. It is a shame to see what could be a hugely popular attraction, be neglected in this fashion. If other small settlements with limited resources can look after their assets and encourage tourists to spend their... More

Duncannon strand has had blue flag status, but because of poor planning and the lack of investment by Wexford county council, it is now reduced to a non swimming beach. It is so polluted that there will be a total swimming ban this summer. As well as that, it is believed that no improvement will be implemented over the next... More

Duncannon is a little place which is unspoilt by tourism but needs more bins as only 2 in village! The Beach was nice but wasn't cleaned and always full of cars which I didn't like, no Dog mess bins anywhere so people just covered over :-(. The lovely village is a bit disappointing but has great potential should they sort... More
