Brought my 8 and 9 year old here!! They loved it, they had there ear pieces allowing them to listen to the information themselves which was a novelty in itself which they loved!! We did not get a guided tour!! Having been to the other museums and linking it all together the children and ourselves found this a great experience!!

This was another great little place to have a look in. Lots of antiques from many eras and some great history. Well kept and lovely staff. Worth a look.

We didn't have enough time to really read all the information on display but definitely worth a visit for a step back in time to see how this important family lived.

Good afternoon Diana Thank you very much for taking the time to visit us in the beautiful Georgian Bishop's Palace, its such a pity you didn't have enough time to really enjoy our re-enactor led tours, as they bring the palace to life and give you much more detail than what you'd read from the information panels, all at no... Part of the Viking Triangle, the Bishop's Palace is a beautiful 18th century residence of the wealthy Bishop of Waterford. We had our own private guide who showed us this beautiful building. It contains the first-ever painting of Waterford (1736), the oldest known piece of Waterford Crystal and the largest collection of old Waterford Crystal, as well as beautiful furniture.

Bishop's Palace is a very well kept museum, and holds a lot of history. Be sure and have some time to get the guided tour, or just walk it on your own. Lots of great artifacts, but not that exciting.

Good morning Charles Many thanks for taking the time to visit the Georgian Bishop's Palace, we do appreciate it! The house itself is a beautiful Georgian structure. Beyond that, tour of this house covers the complex history of Waterford's mixture of peoples and religions over the centuries in a lively and engaging manner.

Recently visited the Bishop's Palace and found the experience very worthwhile. First of all it gives one an opportunity to visit an 18th century Georgian House, this one was built in the 1740s and was designed by the famous architect Richard Castles; there is an impressive collection of art work, silverware, inevitably glass (the exhibits include the oldest surviving piece...
