They are in costume and talk through their roles in the house and deliver very interesting history and information in a quirky and humorous manner. You can buy a pass that also includes... More

Our guided tour of the Bishop's Palace on Sat 23 Aug. exceeded our expectations. The dramatised narrative brought the whole thing alive. Beautiful period building combined with great insight on Waterford history. EN Dublin

A very interesting tour with the housekeeper and the butler. Lots of lovely possessions which are now museum pieces. The oldest piece of Waterford crystal has a case to itself. A great many portraits of important people to admire.

This is a really interesting place to visit, set out over 3 floors it has huge paintings, antique furniture, Waterford crystal and much more. We visited the Waterford Treasures Medieval Museum aswell and for only 10 euro for both places it was great value for money. Waterford is Ireland’s oldest city, founded in the year 914 by Viking sea pirates. That legacy lives on in Waterford’s three museums: Reginald’s Tower, Medieval Museum, and the subject of this review, Bishop’s Palace. Time restrictions placed by the tour guide allowed only a brief visit, a place to where I shall return when solo travelling to Ireland. Richard Castles... More

We took the guided tour. The TWO guides acted the period very well. Their knowledge base was one of the best. We would recommend this experience to all age groups

This was a great place. The tour was well structured, and it kept your attension on what the tourguides were saying. They made sure that children were entertained and involved on the way around the rooms. Man and the lady tourguides were fantastic in every way and I really enjoyed the banter..:)

We were needing to get to Rosslare and only had about an hour to see one of the Wexford museums so we chose this one. We used the self guided tour since we didn't have time for the full conducted version. Anyway, it was excellent and gave us a good feel for the importance of the town from Georgian times... More
