The displays in the retail store are spectacular, stars in your eyes!! Although I don't know why they call it a store - I certainly can't afford a €30,000 harp!! Very pretty though. We took the tour, there were some bored kids there. I'd have to suggest not taking kids under 10,they will have no fun and likely get in... More

If you like to see how glass is made and watch the craftsmen at work then the factory tour is interesting. Along the way you get to view the forge, cooling area and inspection areas. Then you are walked past lots of ways that are automated to carve the glass, and shown the art of the master craftsmen. They are... More

We had a lovely time and were fascinated by the skill of the craftsmen as we we went round. Despite the attraction having good disabled access there were no places on the tour for people with mobility issues to sit and take a rest and on the hour long tour this did become an issue for my elderly parents.

It was way better than I expected. It was hands on and very intersting to see everyone working with the crystal. Loved it and picked up a few nice pieces of crystal to have shipped home.

This is a very informative tour, you see the craftsmen at work and every stage of the production of the Waterford crystal products. The tour guide was very informative, and took time where is mattered. Highly recommend

Unfortunately, we only had time to visit the gift shop at Waterford Crystal. We saw the brochures for the tour which looked very interesting, but needed to return in time for hotel checkout. Everything offered from small to large was magnificent and very pricey. We managed to quickly find one or two affordable items, which were safely packaged for transport.... More

Our tour group of 45 got the royal treatment on this very informative tour. The craftspeople along the way seemed to really enjoy their very tedious work. Everything was very well explained and many questions answered. Then we were released into the showroom where we could admire the beautiful glassware and even make a purchase. If you don't want to... Couldn't visit Waterford without going to the Waterford Crystal factory ! The tour guide made sure we were in small groups and gave a very informative talk on the processes used to create this wonderful crystal . As she spoke we had a clear view of the craftsmen at work . The tour was at a gentle pace with plenty... More

Very well done tour with the start of surround movie and sound to the professional Guides. Amazing to watch these craftsmen from the blowing stage to the firing and the application of the cutting, very interesting. The showroom at the end of the tour offers some amazing pieces at half of US prices, including shipping, custom duty and Insurance. On a side note,the... More

We didn't take the escorted tour as we have seen the glass being blown and carved elsewhere. The show room was out of this world the crystal on show to buy was beyond belief . Most items beyond my pocket but they looked better left on show and it would have been a sin to take anything of the display,... More
