We started at the beginning by taking the factory tour. Skilled craftsmen blowing and shaping the items that were later polished, engraved and turned in to some amazing and beautiful pieces. excellent showroom.

Not really into Waterford but was part of the trip. It was just OK in my book - took the tour of the factory where they make the Waterford crystal - that was of interest, but felt there were other things I would have preferred to see -

We really enjoyed touring this place. The guide was very knowledgeable and interactive. Not sure what the short multimedia presentation was about at the beginning... mostly music and fireworks??? Anyhow, once we started it was very interesting. We were able to see all the stages of making/finishing crystal and see the craftsmen at work. There is a wonderful display of... More

The showroom alone is worth a visit-there are so many beautiful items on display & for sale. The tour is excellent! It takes you through the working actory & has live demonstrations & detailed process of how the waterford is made going through every stage including examples of each step.

You pay for a wonderful tour. The information presented was helpful in not only understanding the history and philosophy but also all the training and precision that goes into making the crystal. We were able to see the craft masters at work at each stage of development. Very nice touch for the tour. Our guide was lovely and she was... More

The craftsmanship is absolutely astounding. The 911 memorial piece was phenomenal to see and take in. Loved watching the craftsmen etching the crystal. The grandfather clock in the foyer was astounding. The thing that bothered me is that the crystal is NOT produced in Ireland anymore....it's produces in Slovakia, Germany and other areas. Still worth the visit and tour.

The displays in the retail store are spectacular, stars in your eyes!! Although I don't know why they call it a store - I certainly can't afford a €30,000 harp!! Very pretty though. We took the tour, there were some bored kids there. I'd have to suggest not taking kids under 10,they will have no fun and likely get in... More

If you like to see how glass is made and watch the craftsmen at work then the factory tour is interesting. Along the way you get to view the forge, cooling area and inspection areas. Then you are walked past lots of ways that are automated to carve the glass, and shown the art of the master craftsmen. They are... More

We had a lovely time and were fascinated by the skill of the craftsmen as we we went round. Despite the attraction having good disabled access there were no places on the tour for people with mobility issues to sit and take a rest and on the hour long tour this did become an issue for my elderly parents.

It was way better than I expected. It was hands on and very intersting to see everyone working with the crystal. Loved it and picked up a few nice pieces of crystal to have shipped home.
