Highly recommend it is in it's natural state. Bring a picnic lunch and have a picnic after your journey in the caves!

The caves are just fabulous. Great information from the lovely tour guide and great craic as well. Thanks Gemma. Was nice to go on the tour with just 10 people, made it personal. Would love to try a concert sometime. You must visit if in the area.

Having lived virtually down the road from the caves for nearly 50 years finally decided to visit. Absolutely stunning, no words to do justice to the rock formations, thought the crystal sparkle on the calcite was just beautiful, could have spent the day there. As it was we probably over extended our stay as our guide was just so entertaining... More

This cave is an absolute gem and not to be missed if you are cave lover. There are lots of beautiful formations whit this amazing sparkly or crystal glaze which I have not seen in other Irish caves so far. The tour was around 30 min long and very reasonably priced (9 euro pp) so I really recommend it. We... More

The understated nature of this cave's environs belie the awesome interior one encounters when inside. We found the amazing rock formations, stalactites, stalagmites, columns, and curtains quite breathtaking. Well worth a visit!

After a lengthy journey to the caves. I missed the tour of the caves. This was my own fault as I never checked the times in advance. When I asked to even view the caves from the outside I was informed this wasn't possible. I was extremely disappointed. As I felt the staff could have been more accommodating.

Sorry for your disappointment. We remember your visit on the 8/8/2014 and that you did choose not to go down the cave. As you arrived between tours, to avoid disappointment and a wasted journey, perhaps it would have been better if you had taken the opportunity to join the next tour. Furthermore it is impossible to view the caves from... More

Went with young children who were better able to negotiate the steps than I was! Bring a jacket, it's chill down there, too. The cave is really lovely, the young guides do a good job and are very pleasant. A definite must see.

This was a highlight of our trip in Tipperary. The caves are huge and only partially explored . The young tour guide was excellent and she was very informative . Initially a squeeze through the entrance , but that was onlyfor a few seconds and then it opens up into an incredible place , where they have underground concerts .... More
