Fabulous campsite, spotlessly clean, great facilities for campers, bit windy and on slope, however field very dry. Lovely showers and fabulous communal kitchen, saves trying light the gas stove!! Great during fleadh as shuttle bus in and out of Sligo town every 30 minutes. Lovely small secure playground for younger children, amazing beach accross the road.

I've been coming here for years in every type of weather, such a lovely beach which is very shallow on entry to the sea which was beautifully warm at this time. What's also great about Sligo is that the beaches are very nearby and in this beach was very very convenient to us as we were staying at the Ragnarsson nearby and it was literally on our doorstep and made for some great beachcombing walks
