We only got to tour the outdoor portion of this place but it was still worth our time. This is a GREAT place for photos! And, they filmed parts of Braveheart there!

It was one of those sites i had to see before i leave and i wasn't disappointed. I took a tour of the keep. Which made the experience so much more. The tour guide was very in-depth about the history and the architecture and really brought the castle to life. I would definitely recommend taking the tour.

Trim castle is a beautiful old castle with very long and interesting history. The guide was very well informed. The castle has beautiful surroundings which Children can use to play and there are tables for Picnic lunches also. There is a fee of 8 euros for the family. The challenge is parking as the parking spaces around the castle are... More
